not happy have emailed no reply they automatically deduct 1kg even though I check the clothes every time they have not given b=me the weight for two bags only one and the money still hasent gone in the bank really not happy they used to be good not anymore!!!!! would help if they answered there emails

I requested 2 bags. The 1st one they came to collect and after few days i just received my payment and confirmation email. When i sended the 2nd bag, after 1 month they don't reply any email from me or answer my calls. The costumer service doesn't existe to be honest. Online, i can see that all my clothes was accepted and how much i should receive but i still with no money or answer

After looking at the site, I thought this website would be good to get rid of my unwanted clothes. I sent in 13kg of stuff, some of which was ver good quality, only 12kg was excepted which was £6.00. Would have earned more selling the clothes instead. My order was collected and processed on 19/06/2018 and month and a bit now and I have not received my money. I have emailed and send a number of messages but have not got an emails in return. Do Not use this site, also they collect between 8-6pm and the guy didn't come till 5pm waited a whole day. This is a waste of time and you don't get the money from them. I which these reviews where more visible on the site, so other people know not to use them.

Don't waste your time. I am owed the grand total of 6.00, which I have spent hanging on to an unanswered phone. Have sent 3 E mails with no response.

I handed in around 15kg of clothing - only to be told I get 2.50 pounds because I had 5kg worth of clothes. I then wrote emails and got no reply. I also haven't even received my money for this service. Never using again. Absolutely disgusting.

I had my clothes collected a month ago and still had no payment. Tried ringing several times only to be kept on hold for ages and had to hang up as nobody was answering. Won't be using again.

I send 2 order 1 of them gone through perfectly and the second which picked up exactly same time order number HIZ0BDRZ still shows entry and valued for £6.50. I have sent countless messages and don’t want to call the tel number as I only use mobile and I only been with them on the phone 20 sec and cost me 52p. No one comes back to me no payment no respond at all. So very disappointed

I've used this site 3 or 4 times now and have found them good to their word.Sometimes a few items are rejected but that's probably my own fault for not checking everything properly.You maybe have to wait in for collection of the sacks but hey so what? I donate any money received to my chosen charity so am grateful for the amounts I get.Friends donate stuff and I collect and bag up ...easy!

So I received my pack and collection was on the day that I requested and stated payment via cheque. I can see the bag was accepted however I have not received payment for the sum stated. This was over a month ago. I sent a contact message, no response. I have had to put one star but if I could state zero stars I would. People don’t waste your time with them, offer your unwanted goods elsewhere. At the end of the day you are a business and. As reviews will only be at detriment of your reputation

My first genie bags were collected and payment made. The next bag I returned to them has been given a zero value and I'm very disappointed. There were some quality items in it.

I have used this company and they are quick and delivery quick also brilliant in letting u know the process of ur clothing it may only be pocket money but it is worth it rather than throwing old clothes away at least they will be worn again with someone who needs them thank u for ur quick services

Ignore the negative comments I've got nothing but praise for this company both times picked up quickly information about tracking good payment fast keep up the great work will use again

I got £2.21 for a sack. If I could have my things back I would however the greedy people wouldn’t do that. Donate to charity, you’ll get satisfaction rather than £2 and an awful experience. They shouldn’t be allowed to refuse items as well as they’re just lowering the pay out for themselves. Rubbish false advertising, making people think they’ll get more than the price of a multipack of crisps. This company should be ashamed and by the sight of these reviews I don’t think they’ll be robbing people much longer. Avoid like the plague and find a decent charity shop.

Requested some bags which eventually arrived. Filled them and requested a collection. Waited in all day and nobody turned up. Tried ringing but just got answer message that company was shut and to ring during office hours as on web site - which I had done ! Doesn't matter what time you ring - same message. Arranged another collection waited in all day and no one turned up ! Will not get another chance I will try another company . Absolutely shocking !

The only way they're genies is they make all point of attempting to recycle your clothes, disappear into thin miserable air. Useless customer service, no attempts at resolving the issue, never received our recycling packs and can't be bothered chasing them up. Read the other reviews and sarcastic/unprofessional responses to support this claim. Just don't bother. There are better companies to recycle clothes with. I did not like: Terrible customer services The horrifically sarcastic and intimidating responses to reviews on here and other sites including threats to ban people from their services. What did I like: That there are other better services out there from genuine and decent business folk that won't not pay you.

Literally pick thru your stuff &if its not in brand new condition reject it...they obviously sell your clothes on as brand new condition in whatever poor 3rd world country ...diabolical liberty takers.

After reading lots of not so good reviews, the biggest part of my hesitation about using this service was Genie's responses to others reviews, which at the very least were less than professional. After much deliberation, I decided to give Genie recycling a go, probably swayed by their claim for what seemed to be fair recompense. I filled both of the huge sacks with good quality clothes, bags and shoes and hoped for the best! However, I didn't receive an email with their calculations and estimation of worth, just a much smaller than expected cheque through the post. Much like others experiences. I feel disappointed and wish I'd followed my gut and taken to a local weigh in or given to charity. This is not a terrible service but certainly doesn't live up to its claims- just be aware before committing.
