I ordered a door 5weeks ago paid a deposit and was told it would be fitted on the 13th of march I waited for the fitters but no one came so I rang them and was told as soon as they knew a time they would ring me but it would be afternoon, I waited in but wasn't contacted. I stayed in all day, a phone call would have been nice, I have contacted LDG who are looking into it, I await there response. I will not be using LDG again.

New Porch fitted just before christmas. Been a disaster from the start. Frame 36mm short one end, just covered with TRIM!!! promised new timber at the top but never happened just covered up with trim, door doesn't seal correctly, which is the major problem. Colder in porch now than when we had a timber door and single glazed windows. They havent ignored us but they havent sorted the problem either. They have sent out different fitters several times to rectify but still not correct. Looks like they are using inferior materials and it was poorly fitted. ITS JUST NOT SUITABLE FOR PURPOSE.

Had my two windows fitted yesterday 5th Jan he fitted them and what a good job he made with the minimum of fuss on a bad day .Jan very pleased with the windows and would highly recommend the company and the fixer thanks to all concerned

Windows, doors, drains and fascias installed. Looked good on the face of things. I was not at the property when work was being done as it was undergoing total renovation and was uninhabitable. I had also been undergoing hip replacement surgery. When I finally moved in six months ago I noticed none of the windows had been sealed inside. LDG told me I should have told them sooner and that they’d been told to leave it by a workman in the house at the time. I told them I’d also had a new door fitted in a rental property and was going to need new windows there but they refused to help me. After that I noticed that every time it rained a fountain of water gushed out of the corner of the drain. There appeared to be a blockage. At Xmas time (2017) our internet service went down all over Xmas. Engineers were sent out and the first question they asked was « who fitted your windows and drains etc? ». They told me that the men had thrown the cabling over the roof, left a connection box in the drain and left a circuit box exposed to the elements. At the side of the house they’d left cabling hanging off the wall and left an open hole that lead directly into the house which meant my home was subject to damp. The engineers sealed it for me and went away with a story to tell about LDG to all their customers. I’m so appalled by LDG and want as many people as possible to know about my experiences and so will be Contacting as many magazines and Internet forums as possible.

We asked for a quote from LDG for a two up two down house in Colne and LDG beat everyone hands down. The job was carried out with great professionalism and very quickly by the company team. We could not fault them. Their work ethic has to be admired. The quality of the company’s double glazing has been exceptional and the look of the windows and doors has made the house really stand out in the street and has attracted the admiration of neighbours. The team did the job quickly and efficiently and left no mess whatsoever. I would have no hesitation in recommending LDG products and their fitting team to anyone.

I have recently had new composite front and back doors fitted by LDG, they are beautiful and so well fitted I feel very secure in my home now. I found the company to be very professional from the very beginning. To begin with I was helped by a very patient Sales Represantative, to choose my doors, windows, colours and payment options. He was really knowledgable, friendly and patient, which was great considering just how indecisive I was: at no point did I feel I was being "sold" to! After a few weeks my fitting was promptly booked in and the fitter was fantastic, again very friendly and respectful of my home. It only took a few hours, he was very tidy and left no mess behind. I will be using this company again when I get my windows replaced and have already recommended them to family and friends!

We had some bi fold doors fitted this week from Lancashire Double Glazing. Absolutely fantastic service. Completely transformed our lounge. The fitters were first class, extremely polite and conscientious. We couldn't be happier with the end result and will not hesitate to use them again if we need anything in the future. Highly recommended.

The work carried out on both occasions was of a very high standard. I was particularly impressed by the punctuality of the fitters, their professionalism and the way they cleaned the area on completion. Over the past two years we have had a front door and two front windows replaced by LDG and again was extremely pleased with the workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend LDG to family and friends.

Very happy with my window installation from start to finish. Salesman wasn't pushy, installation team were very professional and tidy, I felt looked after from the company after care. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. In fact I have.

Recently had new windows, doors and porch for my house and from start the finish LDG were brilliant. They sent a great salesman who was helpful, not pushy and guided us in the right direction. The service for the office staff was outstanding. They kept me informed throughout and worked around me. The install also went really went and we love our new doors, windows and porch. some friends have had bad experiences in the past with other glazing firms so I have recommended LDG to them for anything they need in the future. Top Tip - Visit their showroom where a lot of their products are on show to test and try.

The Administration kept us up to date with progress & the installation team arrived on time. they worked very methodically & showed great respect for our home. nothing was too much trouble for them & the quality & cleanliness was second to none. One small hiccup was the front door, someone at the factory had moved our door onto the stock going to the Isle of Man. but not to worry as the installation team brought it the following day. I have used them 3 time now & I have no problem recommending them to family & friends. p.s My daughter has organised a survey to be done on her house now she's seen ours & our best friends are very seriously looking into getting all the house new doors & windows. Honestly give them a call you won't be disapointed

The installation team were excellent and they completed the work in time with very few stoppages. They certainly did their company proud and I have no hesitation in recommending LDG as they have made this 1860's house feel like new!!

Got off to a bit of a slow start on the planning side due to the surveyor leaving the company and his work having to be re-checked. Once work started the two guys from LDG demolished and removed the old timber and glass lean-to in no time at all. Their work was extremely neat and tidy and caused no disruption what so ever. They installed the major items on the first day as well and had it all glazed and watertight by the end of the 2nd day. They didn't quite get it all done and had to return for an hour or so on the 3rd day. Overall I was very impressed by the performance and the quality of the product and would have no hesitation in recommending the company to my friends and neighbours

I've just recently had a back door fitted and it's beautiful. The man that fitted it has done a good job LDG was recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend them to any of my friends or family The staff are friendly and helpful. I'm glad I chose this company.

LDG have supplied and fitted windows, doors and conservatories at all four of our properties over the last 20 plus years and every time without fail have provided quality products and excellent service . I needed new windows fitting on my house. I chose LDG for the job, and have been so very impressed with the Company. From my initial contact with the efficient Receptionist and sales staff, through to the knowledgeable surveyor and excellent fitters, the customer care has been outstanding. It deserves applause. The process of changing windows was eased for me by the great support given by the staff of LDG. Changing windows really is an upheaval but LDG puts it under good management practice to ease it. The staff know what they are doing. They turn up on time for appointments, and listen to you. They take time to explain why/what they are doing. Tidy work throughout. After fitting the windows I was presented with a survey to fill in to find out if I was satisfied. The fitters even left me with written care instructions for my windows. The new windows repeatedly receive compliments from my neighbours and visitors. In addition to those compliments I have a written guarantee which indicates the windows are sturdy, and when the Fensa certificate arrived it confirmed my opinion that the windows had been carefully and well fitted by LDG. Thank you LDG.

They do not fit cavity closures. They won't tell you this, even though you have specifically asked about cavity closures. Only after installation will they tell you they don't fit cavity closures. If you have open cavities on an old badly insulated building, if cavity closures are not fitted you get the feeling of cold air coming through the windows. Fensa say they must he fitted, but fensa are there for the double glazing companies not for the consumer. Do not be misled into thinking fensa protect consumers; they do not, and if their own rules are not followed you will still get a fensa certificate because the double glazing company has paid for it and fensa are not going to ever, ever check that a window had been installed correctly. Meanwhile I have a draughty window and I'm stuck with it, forever.
