Conservatory - Poor Build Quality And Footings Subsidence
Towards the end of 2017 I had a conservatory built by Anglo, the project took 14 weeks to complete, due to poor project management. The floor was so uneven I asked the builders back to level it, they made it worse. I tried to get the sales man back but he failed to materialise, in the end I laid my own flooring over the concrete.
April 2019 The footings began to sink leaving a 12 mm gap between the bricks at the damp proof course. The builders came out and it too 5 weeks for them to dig 2 small holes and underpin the wall. 8 weeks on I am still waiting for my patio to be repaired. Fed up of calling the office, the Area Manager doesn't answer my calls. The company is a disgrace and a poor advert for our building industry. Don’t buy anything from this company!
I am experiencing the same problems as mentioned above.
The base of the construction is so uneven that the french door's dont lock. One door is 5cm higher than the other, I cant access my rear garden. There are huge gaps between the skirting and the floor that allows all draft through. The wooden flooring creaks due to the uneven floor. The wiring for the down lights was incorrect, that to get another electrician to rectify.
Their guarantee is not worth the paper its written on.
All calls, messages and emails are ignored.

A complete an utter disaster. Had a conservatory built with some brick work done also.
Builder was constantly in touch wanting money before the job was done because he couldn't afford his rent!!!
His workman ship was shoddy. We had complaints off neighbours about smoking weed while on the job and the brickwork all sank because it was built in subzero tempertures despite being asked if this was ok as I knew it was not.
Office have been called more times than I have had dinners due to leaks and jobs not being completed properly also about 10 year warranty documents still to this day we are waiting for. I mean seriously!!! The electrician thought it was fine to just open my front door and walk straight in to my house. THIS ISN'T ACCEPTABlE!!!
My concrete floor was left so uneven the floor company could not lay our chosen floor. Builder was then sent back out to screed the floor in order to try and level it floor was still completely uneven it had to be laid the best the company could do again due to your shoddy workmanship!!!
A complete and utter disgrace to say the least AVOID AVOID AVOID there are plenty of reputable companies out there.
If i could give no stars I would the product is poor the service is poor the call center is poor. Lack of guarentee and proof of payments POOR!!!

Building Control Certificate Refused
Despite the job looking reasonable to the layman, Building Control have refused to issue a building control Completion Certificate. The building control inspector claims lack of adequate information supplied by Anglo International with respect to, structural calculations for roof design, insulation, and condensation risk analysis.
Despite my many attempts to get Anglo to satisfy the inspectors, they have shown little real interest in doing so. Since they have been paid early in the project they now seem uninterested. They do not reply to attempts at communication. Administration has been amateurish at best. No receipt of payment or Ten Year Warranty was issued without much pressure on my part and when they did finally issue something nothing was signed. To call this operation unprofessional is a polite description.
A very poor experience.
Fortunately I had this particular job done as a 'test' for a much larger job I ultimately require doing. Clearly I will be going elsewhere for the main job.
Common theme here with receipts, guarentees and lack of administration.

A Disaster From Start To Finish
I'm amazed that these lot are still in business. Our build was finished last year and it took about 6 months to get it anywhere near an acceptable standard.
They do not provide receipts or the advertised 10 year gaurentee. Builders were always asking for money in advance and a child would have been of more use in the office.
Wonky brickwork, a wonky floor, leaky roof, you name it and these lot will provide it.
They told us not to worry about anything when they first arrived but if you use them i beg you to be on guard for everything.
They made our lives hell, please dont let them do it to you.

As said previously, we have contacted you on a number of occasions and you have refused to provide anything. I will contact you again this week so that you can arrange to "personally deliver a guarantee and recipe (think you meant receipt). Im not holding my breath though.

With reference to your reply I find it very strange that you would not like to contact the office and have a manager visit you and personally deliver a guarantee and recipe.
We have no record of any complaint of the nature you describe. We can only assume you are a competitor who is unhappy that we offer very good value for money to our many happy customers.

The Anglo designer was very honest and knowledgeable, he listened to what we wanted and came up with some excellent suggestions. He was not pushy in fact quite the opposite. All the builders & fitters were polite and arrived on time as promised they all did a great job. We are very pleased with the extra space our conservatory gives us.

We had a number of quotes and Anglo were offering the best value for money.
As promised our conservatory was built for Christmas.

Avoid At All Costs
I ordered and paid for a top quality glass roof which I had researched for months before placing my order. Roof arrived only to discover it had a rating sticker of E not A as ordered. When questioned I was informed that they had been unable to order the glass I wanted and had made the decision to supply me with an equilvant which was no where near the standard I had ordered or paid for. Roof had to be fitted to make existing base and floor water tight. I sent numerous letters and emails to have no response. After making a small claims application I was offered a refund of £500, which I accepted as I found the whole situation stressful and wanted an end to it. Fitter & electrician don’t respond to calls, texts or emails. I still have no electric In the conservatory! They have your money and run and only provide substandard work. I had saved a long time for this conservatory only to be what I would describe as treated badly. I would not recommend to my enemy.

I am very sorry that you are not happy.
We were notified by Synseal who own the celsius product you ordered, that the furnace at the glass manufacturing plant had gone down and our delivery dates would not be met for the foreseeable future. This caused massive disruption to our production and logistics department and meant we had to make emergency contingency measures by sourcing glass elsewhere to limit the impact on to our customers. We supplied Active Blue Sunshield which is an equal if not superior Product.
This product has a grade A rating.
Once again i am very sorry for any inconvenience.
I can confirm we have since refunded you £500 as agreed.
Just A Quick Update : As per the information above I can confirm Synseal the company who could not supply the roof glass the customer requested have recently gone into liquidation. This reiterates the reason for our decision to use an equal if not Better quality product.

Quality Conservatory At A Great Value Price
recently had a conservatory fitted , at a very competitive price ,took two weeks to complete and with the exception of the blinds i requested was pretty much exactly as the salesman who came out promised ..however to his credit when i pointed out the missing blinds, he agreed despite stating he had not charged me for them , to add them to the agreement without extra charge , anybody who wishes to view the job more than welcome , well pleased with the completed job and the manner in wish the salesman has treated us ..profesionally explained , and felt at ease from start to finish..

Anglo International Staffordshire- Very pushy salesman and took 6 months to complete a 3m x 3m conservatory ( I was promised 3 months). They use self employed contractors that don’t work weekends and they came up with every excuse not to turn up on week days (double booked, van broke down). Do not pay the full amount when the frame and glass is delivered otherwise you could be waiting months for it to be completed as they are in no hurry once you have paid them. You then pay the plasterer, electrician etc separately and they all want cash, don’t pay the full amount until complete, I made the mistake of paying half the first day then it took weeks for them to come back. In the end we completed the floor tiles ourselves just to get rid of them after being let down several times and ignored phone calls. It’s now complete and not the high standard I was expecting. It should have been an enjoyable addition to the house and instead it was a stressful nightmare of constant phone calls.
