“Pressure selling at it's worst”

In May a representative from Anglian came to the house on a bank holiday Monday, gave me the whole sales pat before telling me I had less than 24 hours to sign a contract. Said I did not appreciate the pressure. They tried the next bank holiday again with a very short notice 'deal'.

This week someone knocked on again from the company offering 50% off and asked if I was interested. I asked if I could ring up if I was interested and book an appointment outside of school holidays. I was told that if I didn't agree then and there I would not be entitled to the discount. So agreed to have another quote done, 50% off should make for a good quote right?

Wrong. The second quote including all the sales discounts was much more expensive than the first.
