Goodmans Full HD Action Camera

I have used this on my motorcycle and found it not as good as my aging GoPro, the battery life is not great even with just short bursts of recording and image stabilization is pretty poor.

Would I replace my GoPro with this? short answer is no, mainly due to image quality and battery life.

BUT .... for £20 it is well worth having tone in your bag, you get what you pay for and this is well worth what you are paying for it.

i got this as i like to snorkel and thought it would be cool to try filming under the water so i coukd show hubby what i was seeing. I managed to record less than 2 minutes then it needed charging…. Charged it for hours as blue light goes off after fully charged.. it didnt THEN… red light stayed on to say it was charging IT WAS NOT PLUGGED IN! it wouldnt switch on at all… after the reviews i came to the conclusion Goodmans has totally ripped people off with this and laying the “go back to B&M” blame.. shame on you goodmans! Once a good reliable company.. what happened to you! ONLY USED IT ONCE!

WORST CAMERA EVER!

I'm lucky if I get a half hour from the battery which isn't much use at all. I bought it for mounting on my motorbike because I live in London where there are so many dangerous drivers. I am so disappointed with this product. I dont think it is at complicated just useless because of the brief battery life.

The battery does not last longer than 1 hour. in full HD mode, the frame rate very jumps. plugged into pc with a USB cable and the camera failed altogether.

Sold exclusively by B & M Stores according to the packaging, although the same camera is available on Amazon UK and other suppliers. I paid £19.99.

I previously had a GoPro which I lost under the waves when sea kayaking. I thought that I'd give this a go even though I wasn't expecting much for my money, and I was right.

The instructions are poor and don't advise how long battery charging should take before first use. The blue light is supposed to turn off when charging is complete but it was still illuminated after 10 hours ! The camera would not switch on when unplugged from the USB terminal on my PC but there was a red light constantly illuminated on the top of the camera.

I found Goodmans website which provides a messaging system and so I asked how long charging is supposed to take and a few questions that I couldn't find an answer for in the instructions.

Couldn't believe it when I received an abrupt reply advising me to contact B & M Customer Services. As if they would know the answers to technical questions about a Goodmans product !!!

Nothing against B & M though, as they took back the camera and gave me a full refund without any quibble whatsoever.
