“Keeps you on track”

Because Nutracheck counts calories, you can’t cheat. No telling yourself that one little bit won’t make any difference. It does! And as long as you enter everything you eat, you can see how it all adds up so really helps with portion control, which is good if, like me, you enjoy food and can easily be greedy!
I like the nutrient analysis too, to make sure I’m getting enough protein while restricting total calories.
My main gripe with it is that it never gives a goal of less than 1200 calories. If you’re small (I.e not tall) so don’t need to eat as many calories as someone tall, 1200 calories may be so near your maintenance number of calories, that as you near you goal, you would only lose weigh VERY slowly. I mentally adjust that 1200 downwards as I’m nearly at my goal. Hooray.
I shall keep on with Nutracheck on a maintenance basis for another year to make sure that I keep on the straight and narrow !
