I only give one star because giving zero is not possible here. Communication with members on C-date rarely happens. Matches from your area turn out to be from Nigeria or London. The first asking you for help to invest 3 Million US$. Sounds familiar, right? Others asking to move into your house even without knowing anything about you. You only have to pay for their ticket to fly in. Even if the distance to you is relatively short that the woman could easily travel by train or car she would have a "driving phobia" because her Dad died in a car accident. Feeling sorry for her already? Same woman lost all her money to her ex partner, lost her job and is all alone. Sounds like a dream partner. Women will ask quickly for private email addresses or phone numbers so that they can text or email you unobserved by c-date. Worst is cancellation policy on C-date. You need to press a button (profile, settings, change membership) in order to upload a form. However, the link associate with it does not pop up so you do not get the document you need to fill out in order to cancel. Companies which try to lock up customers rather then convincing with their services should generally be avoided.

As a male on the site a total rip off. By pure luck I found one person that I met and perhaps 2 that I had some conversation with online. The rest were all fakes that wanted me to email their personal addresses so that they could tell me they loved me and I just needed to send them the money to fly from Nigeria to meet me in London. I think the contact I had that perhaps 1 in 20 to 1 in 30 were real people and the rest fake. The site works differently as it provides a person the computer matches you with every so often, you cannot just search the lists, so at the mercy of their matching logic which was useless. I was given profiles of girls that were 18, when my profile was set to nothing younger than 27. I did ask how someone 10 years younger than my minimum preference could possibly be a match, funny enough no answer came back for that. Perhaps for a woman the site might work, but if using it as a woman, expect some cynicism and negativity until you show yourself not to be asking for money to fly from Nigeria.
