I decided to have a shop around for a new credit card with a good rate and came across three, one being the M&S card. approval and credit limit was great no problems. Decided to use the card for a business trip to china, so contacted them and again no problems. using the card again no problem. Return from China to review my spending, no paper bill available so I register online. registration fine no issues. problem starts when you actually want to log on to the website for nearly four weeks now I have not been able to log on as it keep stating that its currently not available. having spoken to "Daniel" at the call centre which is either the standard name they give or they only have one rep as it takes on averange 30 minutes to get through, he states that it is back online and will be available within the hour, a week goes by and calling "Daniel" again he now states that he wasnt the "Daniel" I originally spoke to and that the system will be down and they have no information when this will be back online. All in all poor customer service, no IT skills within the organisation, I shudder to think what their new current account is going to be like. Avoid go to Virgin, barclays or even wonga before cosidering this card or any other M&S Bank options.
