Hi, I have had 3 carrera banshee bikes. 1st still have bought back in 2001, awesome Bike, awesome colour scheme, lime green/black with red flames. In the years I've had it I've updated the front forks, gearing, handlebars and wheels. Wheels were weak on it, buckled them quite quickly. The only issue I ever had was the linkage between the Y frame wore out as it was made of low grade metal. Machine shop and phosporus bronze later and been perfect ever since. 2nd I didn't like too much bought in… Read Full Review

I can remember when diamond back was a quality name and you could trust the quality of components . the people at diamond back must not ride at all. If they do they aren't riding there brand. Shameful if they take pride on destroying For 300 us dollars I should of bought a used ride.. This bike feel apart faster then a Walmart bike. Worthless I wouldn't give this bike seat id fear it's going to her someone the one thing I liked about the bike was no one in their right mind would take it. It… Read Full Review

Suspension is terrible, it is like a pogo stick although now the front forks don't really work that well anymore and the back coil had worn out and couldn't be replaced. I went to Halfords and they were really helpful and just took one off a cheap bike as generally the bike isn't supposed to last that long. I have had a new back… Read Full Review

Having had a long break from Cycling I decided 12 months ago to get a bike, and old battered Carrera crossfire was found and I used it daily. I purchased a brand new crossfire 3 from Halfords recently and I am not disappointed. the bike is ideal for me and my daily route. the frame is nice and still the lock out forks are really useful and the hydraulic breaks (I am new to these) are a revelation. my only complaint is the stock tyres Kenda really don't perform in the soft mud very well… Read Full Review
