Stan56's review of TK Maxx

“returning items not fit for use, sale of goods rights”

Written on: 27/09/2014 by Stan56 (1 review written)

I tried to return a suitcase i bought for a friend who was due to go away on holiday. 2 days later the friend asked me to return it as she felt the zip was faulty and did not want to risk it comming apart.

i attempted to return to case to TK Maxx crown point Leeds and was told i needed a reciept as they could not work out i had paid for it and was turned away.

i had bought the case with a credit card and could give the date i purchased it TK maxx line was they could not check this information.

i have now bought another suitcase from another company and will attempt to get a refund when i have my credit card bill, i wonder how i would stand if this falls outside the 28 day return period.

i would be interesting to know if they have complied with the sale of goods act.

this sort of interaction makes you want to avoid them there are other shops
