MalcMLondon's review of Nestle Black Magic

★☆☆☆☆

“Synthetic, cheap imitations. ”

Written on: 09/09/2022 by MalcMLondon (1 review written)

Wow. I remember my Gran always having this treat of a chocolate box in the front room - a delicious reward for not running her ragged during visits! However, this bears absolutely no resemblance to what I used to eat back then. Nowadays, for some reason, the Black Magic box is full of just horrible, horrible chocolates and cheap, synthetic tastes. The roof of my mouth and tongue were throbbing after the first bite - had to rinse it out with marmite and out of date sour milk to get rid of the nasty aftertaste.
I don’t know who bought whom out, but these bad boys aren’t made with the same love, care, pride or ingredients of yesteryear. Avoid at all costs.
If I could have given zero stars, I would have.
