I don't know what's happened to Roses but they now taste disgusting. The "tin" (which is now plastic) was barely 3/5 full (and that's on top of being an inch shorter in height vs previous years). Each chocolate is now wrapped in over-sized "sachets" each containing a large bubble of air and obviously designed to take up 1.5x the space for the same chocolate. In short, if you took the chocolates and wrapped them as they used to be and put them in the older larger sized tubs, it would barely be 1/3rd full. You are literally paying for 2/3rds thin air here.
As for the chocolates themselves, they've lost all the old distinctive flavours that actually tasted different (coffee cream, montelimar, coconut, bourneville, etc) and now they nearly all taste same generic "sugary sludge fondant" that's merely "hinted" with flavour that actually tastes of chemicals. Cadbury's Roses haven't just "gone downhill", they've completely fallen through the floor...
