“Dial Direct is a misnomer”

Trying to change my car insurance from an older car to a newer purchase. Many failed attempts at phoning and not getting an answer, only to be kept waiting on hold or to be cut off when finally getting through.

In between trying unsuccessfully to speak with someone over the phone I tried online - that was just as fruitless.

I eventually got through to an advisor who’s server kept dropping so the whole process took an extremely long time.

In the meantime, the car dealer was anxious to leave for an appointment so I’m grateful for his patience. It took around 45 minutes from initially dialling to completing my application. The company should really rethink its name as it’s certainly not ‘Dial Direct’. Not a positive experience.
