“Frustrating communication, unnecessary data gathered”

I was put in contact with Auxillis by Co-operative insurance following a car accident to avoid paying and claiming back the excess on my policy. They were to supply a hire car following a no fault prang, on my part. To be honest I wish I hadn't bothered using them because I feel it delayed the process of getting my car fixed. Thank you for taking the time to review our services.

We understand that some of the information we request may have already been provided to your Insurance company when initially logging the claim, however as we claim the hire costs back from the third party we are required to confirm the information provided is accurate, ensuring that our services can be arranged.

We appreciate that our initial phone call can be quite overwhelming after an accident; therefore we don’t require you to commit yourself to our policies at this stage. All of our Terms and Conditions are completed online via our Online Customer Portal, which enables you to read through them fully in your own time before you sign our agreements.

The Collision Damage Waiver to which you refer is optional and is offered to customers to reduce their risk of having to pay an excess in a fault accident. In the event of a non- fault accident, the driver would be able to claim this from the other party’s insurer.

We’re sorry to hear that you would not use our services again, however we hope that we have clarified these points for you.

“change of heart”

having given a positive rating I have now changed my mind since discovering that they took £15 from my bank as a surcharge for delivering the car with fuel in it,as I returned the car with the same amount of fuel in it as I was told to do by the delivery driver, I could not understand why they took the £15 so I phoned them for an explanation and was told it was stated in the contract I had signed but it actually says the surcharge is payable in the majority of cases (meaning not all cases)… Read Full Review

“outstanding services and customer care”

Throughout the whole traumatic ordeal during the aftermath of a collision Albany provided an oasis if calm and assistance. The ability to talking to a real person instead of a machine or an operator with a strict script was refreshing. Albany communicated with me from the first instance interested in my needs and requirements rather than inform me of what they wanted.
