“Communication could be better”

The actual service in repairing amd areanging a hire car was fine, but as i have just recieced a request for payment later threatening to involve debt collectors as the paymenr for fuel of £15! Was not able to be take from my card. My card was blocked for 3 days as i went abrpad and my bank didnt recognise a payment i made. Why couldnt they just try and take the payment again??? “Good courtesy car but watch for T&Cs”

I am writing this review on behalf of my son, with his agreement. It was a good clean hire car, no question but watch for the T&C small print. £60 admin fee for passing on parking fine details cannot be justified. No problem with the parking fine and an 'small' charge to cover admin - but £60 to fill a form in for 30 seconds and email to tell my son they have taken money from his card - that's daylight robbery and not on - On calling them he was simply told it's in the T&Cs and he… Read Full Review

“Poor service”

Firstly, the customer service drone on the initial call rattled through everything without any attempt to answer questions or explain anything. He seemed very inflexible regarding points of contact (joint policy). Talked over the top of me, not really interested. The automated email to remind me to sign the agreement was sent out in the middle of the night, then another a few hours later, noting with a wagging finger that I "still" hadn't signed it. No! “Stressful and incompetent”

Passed over to Albany via my insurer after a very minor RTC. A very lengthy process and in effect you agreed to a credit agreement which makes you liable in event claim fails. Didnt think this would be an issue because other party completely at fault. But took Albany 8 weeks to get my car in for repair. They messed up the delivery date for hire car and it arrived when I was on holiday. Then on date of the actual repair hire cr dropped at my house but no one lifted my vehicle. they will be the first to call you. you desperate for help and that's when they call you. my advise give it a day or two, relax came to your senses then make a decision, do not sign any agreement until you sure. i almost signed but decided to call my insurance and asked them why wouldn't they handle the procedure of repairing and car hire? was put through repairing department and the bodyshop will then give me a car for the run around while mine is getting fixed. i think this makes more… Read Full Review
