We are wanting to hire a car for 6 adults from June 6 to 12 June, wondered what best way of doing is it cheaper to hire 2 small cars or 7 seater? Is this a company people can recommend as good deal and good service?

I have been using Coys for years now and wouldn't work with anyone else. The simplicity of the way they work is why. The previous company I used was cheaper , im not going to lie, but I spent approx 2 hours waiting to collect my car. With Coys its instant. Also the cars are always spotless and recently purchased. Regarding your choice above 2 small or a 7 seater , give the team a ring or email and they will guide you but personally id go with the 7 seater. I hope this helps..

I have been using Coys Rent a Car for several years. They are a great company to use, if you e-mail them you will receive a reply from a real person and they will give honest advice on your options. The other advantage using this company is that there are no hidden add-ons and no queuing. You are met at the gate and taken to the car. When you book you have the option to include comprehensive cover and to add some fuel. They do not work like some of the other car hire companies.

Do they take a holding deposit from a credit card when booking car hire?

No,you just pay for the hire of the vehicle.Best to pay the extra fee for Collision Damage Waiver for peace of mind.It covers you for any damage to the vehicle.I use Coys every year. They are a superb company..Rent a car with absolute confidence!

If you take out the EWC ( excess waiver charge } at an extra 3 euros a day then NO, there is no holding on your credit card, if you choose not to take it then a deposit of 300 euros is held for the insurance excess, all this can be seen on there web site, all the best.

No, they work more like UK companies. There are no hidden charges. If you book just choose the enhanced insurance which is not expensive. Also they do not play the 'full tank of fuel game'. You get the car with some fuel in and you can ask them in advance to put more in if you wish. They are British run and, rather than having to queue they meet you and take you to the car. You would be hard-pressed to find a friendlier company.

I can't be 100% but am pretty sure that they didn't. Since writing my review I have recommended Coys to other family and friends and they have all been really impressed with their service. Very friendly and relaxed experience compared to other car rental companies I've used. Hope that helps. Sure they will reply to an email or you could phone them to be certain.

Coys do not take a holding deposit. They charge for 20 Euros of fuel and you return empty. Take their fully comp insurance. It is included in the quote and is reasonable..Happy holiday Season!
