Started off to buy a car from autotrader to buy a run around and noticed a pt cruiser with mot til august and hpi check came back clear with no accidents and boy was i in for a shock arrived was told car was mechanically perfect only a abs light on which i was told it didn't need to pass future mot's which it would pass easy so i putchased the car and buy the time i got home the engine nearly died due to the fact of no coolant or oil in the engine then i get a fone call saying that there was no mot on the vehicle which in the ad clearly stated mot til august so i thought il get it mot and next day i find out it failed horribly and then on further investigation find out the car was a cat D write off it had been placed under another pt cruisers reg to pass the autotrader automatic hpi check so been trying to get refund arranged but now instead having to go to trading standards to get matters legally resolved biggest mistake of my life avoid this scrap dealer at all cost!!!

This place is a scrap yard DO NOT bit from here. I payed full amount for car there were things needed doin ie. Windscreen wipers were faulty no MOT I returned two weeks later to collect nothing had been more damage to car.

Now having to go through small claims to get my money back for I car I've never even driven.

Helpful, they delivered the car on time for a 3 month lease. Keen to get turnover which I find a great work ethic. Car is a 10 year old BMW, which is in the condition they described. I am in the middle of my lease term and so far very happy. What they could have done better?! The car wasn't cleaned inside when it arrived which was a shame.

Bought a car from this dealer with a 30 day warranty, it went wrong within 2 days. Took it back and he wanted to replace the faulty parts using parts from another non-working vehicle with no warranty on the work done. Vehicle was rejected by me and left with the trader for refund which he refuses to honour so matter is now going to court. I have now found out he is trying to sell the vehicle which is still legally mine - technically he will be selling stolen property, if he sells it before issuing a full refund, he will likely by arrested. He is ignoring all emails and recorded post. He claims that because the vehicle had an MOT prior to purchase, the fault must have been caused by me?!? (quite how I could break the power steering bemuses me!)

He is no stranger to the courts, trading standards are investigating him. Do not fall for his charm, even if he gives you a warranty - he will not honour it!

RunArounds was amazing when we bought our first car (BMW) with them. the person I dealt with was amazing and friendly and so helpful. They agreed for us to pay in instalments which was so great for us at the moment. BMW drives well but was disappointed with the second car (Ford) which we bought. having major issues with it and not happy with it at the moment even after all the repairs we have done on it. Overall I would still go back and buy my cars there.

Worked for me , car was fine and was cheaper than any main stream hire car company.. Very happy.

I was in dire need of a runaround car, while my old banger was being repaired.

I spotted a Mondeo on line and it seemed to fit my purpose, I went with my husband and we met Mr Jupp.

He was polite and courteous he explained how the cars were so cheap while also explaining his profit margin.

I bought my Mondeo with my eyes wide open and six months later I still have it , my old banger went to the scrap heap in the sky while i kept the Mondeo. It needed some work, what 2nd hand car doesn't ? But I'm very happy with it and I would definatly recommend Mr Jupp and his establishment to anyone who asks where i got my car from.

I think the directions could have been a bit clearer, but apart from that I had a very happy experience with Mr Jupp and if I need another car, I will definatly look in to his stock.

I have read a number of fairly negative reviews about the quality of the cars supplied by runaround however I decided to go ahead and book a hire car anyway. I have to say that the car i received was exactly as i had expected and looked at on the website. It was a tidy automatic corsa which had certainly picked up a few battle scars but what would you expect for the money being asked. It was a perfectly reliable car that started each day without any issues and got me back and forth from work for a month without any issues. It was massively cheaper than an equivalent car from one of the larger hire companies and due to the odd battle scare i safe in the knowledge that if it picked up the odd scratch in a car park they would not unlike other companies give me lots of grief. In a nutshell it does exactly what it says on the tin, a cheap, reliable car the bridges the gap when needed. Thanks guys... oh and i forgot to say the people working couldn't have been more helpful!

Wanted a runaround and am happy with what I got. Paid a reasonable price for a cheap car. Initially had a leak around sun roof which they offered to fix immediately. Have waited to write this review until I had checked that the car ran well and now 6 weeks have passed and can say all is well. They also gave me a 3 month guarantee on the engine and clutch. I've read some of the reviews, good and bad, all I can say is when buying, take someone who knows alittle about cars - if possible, take your time, have a check list and go through it, have a test drive and get a 'feel for the car'. Oh and Yes he is a good salesman, but that is his job!
