Hi, We purchase a car from this used car dealer and since day 1 we complained about problems with the car and enquired about a refund / replacement. Garage always wanted to attempt to get car fixed even though they didnt beleive there were problems with the car. After the 4th issue with the car in so many weeks and after their warranty had ran out they washed their hands of us and now were left with a car that we have zero confidence in. Needless to say were now cutting our losses and trying to part exchange the car for a more reliable one. The manager at this company was rude, arrogant and accused us of lying. Do not buy a car from them if you can help it, you've been warned. This company has 0 customer care. Regards Nick

I would never have bought that car! If you want to buy a car and it breaks down the day you buy it, buy it from here. I can honestly say I never thought I would come across a rip off merchant like this. So you buy a second hand car and you expect a few things wrong with it, worn interior, the odd stone chip and scratch etc. Not a list of 20 major faults. Water leaking into the car, engine misfiring, broken spring, breaks dangerously low, wipers dangerously degraded to name just a few of the problems. Well you think you can get it resolved under the warranty? Don’t hold your breath. After 4 weeks they finally say they fixed the car. Nope not a chance. They let you take the car and then say if you weren’t happy then you shouldn’t have taken it and they're not going to fix the problems. Now I have to pay out to get it fixed. I did take them to Court and won my case, but it is then up to you retrieve your money! The legal system is a joke. I also paid for a private bailiff company to go after them, but that was just more money wasted. If only there was a way for the people who have been ripped off by this guy to contact one another then maybe we could do something about him. Maybe we should set a date and meet up outside the showroom in the car park opposite and swap information, dates and legal documentation outlining our efforts to seek prosecution & compensation?

Having seen a few different ones, and completed our own research about the care, we were confident nothing could go wrong. However, they surprised us! There was complications with the car but not too major, which could have been helpful if they had mentioned it got brushed under the carpet. Then the documents took for a while (5 weeks) and they weren't even prepared to simply apologise! So the manager Russell Hickey - reminds me of Earl Hickey from "my name is Earl" doesn't even get off the phone like a rude, arrogant, PMT'ed man says "don't ya get it?! it ain't here" and carried on talking on the phone. Exactly what you need after you spend £14,000!

This guy is astonishing he rips people off with the mostly useless piles of rubbish he can get his hands on, and when you come back after him he simply shuts up shop, and starts all over again under a new name. I would strongly advise anyone vaguely thinking about purchasing a car from this complete out & out conman, DONT DO IT, DO NOT LET HIM HAVE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH! He will sell you a worthless pile of junk, and you will the have a lengthy battle trying to retrieve your money YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

MotorCare Cars ripped me off as well. They kept the car AND the money.
They have now changed their name to Approved Cars - AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS
