"free Lifetime" Oil & Filter Change Program Is A Cheat!
In 2010 I purchased a new RAV4 Sports from Country Hills Toyota and was made to pay upfront $500 for a "Free Lifetime Oil & Filter Change Program". Since then I had 3 yearly oil changes without hassle. But in June 2014 when I brought in for the yearly oil change, the service dept. made me pay $190 for a general "maintenance" (checkup) or else I will not get the free oil change program! I felt cheated! I will not use them anymore.

When I brought my new rav 4 2013 for service they did a poor job by not putting the lid or cover of the oil.Good thing I stop at mall watch movie after that I open the hood holy smoke the oil was all over the place.I phone the dealership right away because I'm scare that it would wreck my vehicle coz I have to drive back to my place w/c is 230 km.The staff hung up on me three times finally one answer & told me we will just shampoo it comeback next week very rude, hung up again call again then someone answer & I mentioned what a negligence they've done I was told to hurry up because they will be closing in 10 minutes very rude the fact it was there mistake & never apologized just imagine if I did not check there work before leaving the city they would have wreck my brand new vehicle.Poor poor services
Country Hills Toyota Breached Signed Contract For Vehicle
Complaint Description:
Country Hills Toyota breached signed contract for vehicle purchase
Because of a delay in delivery they provided alternative vehicle and got me to sign a contract with financing information.
I signed this in good faith. That evening I was contacted to re-sign at different amounts I informed finance manager that I would come in to discuss.
The following morning, I stated that the signed contract I had agreed to was the legally binding contract.
Emails were exchange to this matter until June 1, 2012 at 8:53 AM.
At 4:35 PM I was contacted by Country Hills Toyota to pickup my vehicle on Saturday June 2, at 10:00 AM.
When I arrived, they cancelled my existing Registration and proceeded to tell me that I needed to re-sign with different numbers.
When I told them that the valid contract was the one I signed, accepting the new terms and new vehicle the General Manager, told me in front of my children “You have no morals, how can you do this in front of your children, what kind of example are you setting?".
I informed him that that was slanderous and improper for him to say that in front of my children.
Country Hills Toyota refuses to honour the contract and informed me that they had destroyed the said contract with my signatures.
I feel that this is wrong and they should not be able to do business this way.
