Guest's review of Sunseeker Doors Aluminium Bifolding Doors

“frameless doors”

Written on: 01/05/2012

we had bi folding doors installed in our house 5 years ago from sunseeker . we had some problems with doors dropping but they always got resolved . We recommended the bi foldings doors to our friends about a year ago and they have had no problems. The doors have changed somewhat to our doors in design though .
sunseeker have just installed a set of frameless double glazed doors in our new extension . fitted with the 4 weeks and my only complaint would be admin . phones engaged and difficult to get through. email communication is best .

Hi,

I am planning to get such doors fitted (frameless folding sliding doors). Are you happy with yours ? are they perfectly weather proof ?
are they difficult to manipulate ?

We had sunseeker bifolds 5 or 6 years ago and are also thinking of installing frameless (not available then) to replace the garage doors, as we want to convert the garage into a games room but it doesn't have any other light source.

We can't decide whether to go for the single glazed tempered glass or the double glazed (as it's not officially part of the home, we don't need thermal compliance). The double glazed can have integral blinds but that's extra cost so we'll probably choose the single and keep the price down. The great thing is that we can keep a virtually level cill so the garage can still be used for cars in the future - bit like a showroom!

Answers to your questions would be interesting though not essential for us. Also, I always email them and their response is usually within a couple of days. I don't think they have a lot of staff in the office.
