“Very alarmed and annoyed! ”

We left our dog and my daughters for the first time in boarding. We sussed rose farm out before hand and were assured they would get walks etc, however when I was there u did notice very little interaction with the other dogs and I thought well at least they would be safe as in nobody could pinch them. Both dogs are under the same vet. We know the vet on first name terms, that's how well looked after both boys are, people commenting on their coats and build.
We took their own bed to sleep on to ensure they had comfort. We took their own food and treats and toys.
We called the kennels whilst away.
My husband picked them up and upon return to home the dogs were ravenous. They have been like that allay and I know dogs are always hungry, but exceptionally hungry.
My black lab who is usually musclely looking is skinny! You can see his ribs and feel the neck bones, he is normally a solid looking boy and I am very sad that he has been starved despite having more than enough food left for them both. My daughters dog the retriever looks skinny too and feels it! But he had more fur so not as noticeable. So where is their food because they hadn't been getting it! I'm disgusted with the staff at rose farm who received 165 for each dog to be kept locked up, that's what we have sadly paid for. It doesn't mean that they are dog lovers or care about other dogs just because they know about dogs or have a few of their own as we found out.. I have taken pictures of my boys as I'm disgusted! You are heartless. I am sad both boys have been subjected to this.
