I was offered a voucher with Wheelies for an insurance claim to replace a stolen bike. Wheelies made everything really easy. I contacted them a few times for more information to place the order to find out details etc. Each time they were accessible easy to talk to and helpful in any way they could be. I placed the order for bike and accessories. Wheelies build the bike before it is delivered and as I ordered mudguards and bottle cage they added this to the build when I requested this. The person I spoke to on the phone was really helpful & enabled me to place my order. However bike arrived not to spec & I had to get a local bike shop (cost £50) to put it together properly. Our son's bicycle was stolen, and after the insurance company offered vouchers with Wheelies to replace the bike and its lock (or the alternative of much less in cash to buy a replacement ourselves - not a great choice), we decided to go ahead and order. Ordering was very easy, with voucher codes to pay. You can also adapt the order to your need (e.g. we bought a sturdier lock) and pay the difference. Having a bicycle stolen is never a great experience. Somehow one feels violated and distraught, especially when the bicycle become an extension of the body. My bike was sent to Wheelies at the request of my insurance company on 3rd November 2018. In their opinion it needed a new frame (not in mine though!),they rang and asked me what size the frame was ,I thought this strange as they had the bike in their workshop. Excellent,helpful,knowledgeable and patient call centre staff.Improvements in explaining how the voucher works in the confirmation email would be very easy to make and stop any confusion i.e. "the voucher does not have to be used all at once",also if I do not spend the full amount of the voucher at once I should not have to "claim" for the rest but should be able to use the balance in a similar way to using a credit card.If I know the bike/parts I want why cannot the staff take that order I may… Read Full Review

Our 2 cubes bikes where stolen, don’t worry they said, your Admiral policy covers you so they will be replaced, less £75 compulsory excess. Cool, then I’m passed to Wheelies and told that “accessories” are only covered to 10% of the value of the bike, so I make that £150 on my £1500 bike. So I’m going to be out of pocket as I had about £450 spent on quality accessories, and I wasn’t warned of any of this by Admirral. Had to chase contact through my insurance company but once I was put through the service I received was good. The staff I spoke to were really helpful, professional and so easy to deal with, whether by phone, text or email.
