I used OTS last year when the company I used regularly couldn’t take the booking. In that occasion our return flight was cancelled and we had to wait two days to get home. No problem for OTS they just rebooked the pick up. Used them again for an airport return and the service was courteous and efficient. It’s also competitively priced. I’m going to use this company in the future.

“Left us stranded with no help ”

A driver turned up at our house today gave us our Name and confirmed our destination and called prior to arrival. It appears that the subcontractor made a mistake and sent two drivers and we got the wrong one. (Not at our fault) We were taken to Hammersmith not terminal 5 and when the driver realised his company made a mistake we were dumped out in Hammersmith and left stranded. He had a better paying job to go to so turfed us out. Having trusted this company for 10 years they left us stranded before our flight and refused to refund will have to dispute with credit card company. Staff were incredibly rude and insensitive cannot say avoid enough!

PRE BOOKED ONWARD TRAVEL SOLUTIONS PICK UP FROM STANSTED AIRPORT AND SUPPLIED ALL NECESSARY FLIGHT DETAILS PAID UPFRONT IN FULL IN ADVANCE. UPON ARRIVAL NO ONE IN ARRIVALS HALL TO COLLECT AND STANSTED AIRPORT HAD NEVER HEARD OF THEM. OFFICER FROM STANSTED AIRPORT INFORMATION PHONED ONWARD TRAVEL SOLUTIONS TO INFORM THEM I WAS WAITING BUT THEY DID NOT KNOW WHERE THEIR DRIVER WAS. TOLD THE OFFICER THAT I SHOULD WAIT 10 MINUTES AND SOMEONE WOULD ARRIVE TO COLLECT. I WAITED ALMOST 30 MINUTES NO ONE ARRIVED SO I HAD TO FIND ANOTHER TAXI AND PAY AGAIN. ONWARD TRAVEL SOLUTIONS RATHER THAN APOLOGISE WHEN I PHONED UPON ARRIVING AT MY HOME WERE RUDE AGGRESSIVE AND REFUSED TO REFUND. THIS COMPANY HAS NO MORALS AND NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS I WAS LEFT ALONE AND STRANDED BY THEM. BEWARE USE A FIRM WHO IS REPUTABLE AND HONEST THIS FIRM IS NOT BECAUSE I HAVE COMPLAINED TO THEIR LICENSING AUTHORITY REGARDING THEIR SHAMEFUL SERVICE AND THEY HAVE RESPONDED WITH UNTRUTH AND FALSE CLAIMS

“Discriminate and Late”

Absolutely awful customer service. Unlike other airport transit services fail to use flight tracking and the need to get through arrivals to work out pick-up times. Only provide 1 hour ‘free’ based on planned arrival time. One of our party was a wheelchair user, which we flagged in advance, and they therefore needed to wait to be assisted from the plane and through arrivals. The driver was not there to meet when called, then arrived late. They then pulled out their T&Cs to attempt to charge us an additional £17 whilst blaming us for the lateness. Their T&C take no account of those needing assistance requiring additional transit time and therefore discriminate against those with disabilities. So not only were we not actually late they were also happy to ignore the legal need to adapt to those with disabilities, even when I highlighted this to them. They then spent more time harassing us for the money, through their office and the driver, than they did in providing a service. They finally decided to show us a “kindness” by reducing £17 to £10, to account for what was by their reckoning our being 5mins late. Which we weren’t, they just weren't there to meet is at the gate. So poor - avoid at all costs and book with a company that cares about it’s customers. The last thing you need after a flight is being treated with inhumanity upon arrival.

We had two issues - first is timely communication on day of trip. We got no notification on day of trip that our driver was on the way or who to look for. I called the number to verify and it was clear it was a home phone number, where he wasn't located (I got his partner, kids screaming in background, etc.). He finally called me at the exact time of pickup. Second, we were located at a hotel. Pretty clear pickup should've been at lobby entrance. He was located on other side of building and initially asked us to meet him there. With multiple pieces of luggage we weren't going to do that. It then took him 15 minutes to navigate around the block to meet us. The driver was a pleasant enough fellow but the pre-pickup logistics was poor. For a prebooked trip that cost a bit more than an Uber would have, I expected more.

“Money grabbing practices - charges extra for pick up”

We were charged £19 extra for the time it took us to get to the taxi, while it was typical time it takes for anyone to get out of the airport. I never paid attention to the small print which they have as part of their booking to deceive people. When I challenged this unfair charge, instead of helping, the OTS agent instructed the driver to hold us on the roadside until the over-charge dispute was settled while OTS had my card details from the original booking and all I requested was to allow me to reach home and read OTS Terms at my convenience. We felt very unsafe and went through a lot of stress due to the OTS behaviour. I am infuriated at the way I and my family were treated during this pickup service. I have never had a Taxi experience like this in my whole life. I have been travelling for 20 plus years. No other taxi company ever pressurised me over time to get out of airport like this. As a passenger I would expect a Taxi company who is doing airport transfers to be sensible about the business they are in and factor in some flexibility of the time it takes to collect baggage and go through immigration. I had kept driver updated about our whereabouts within the airport the whole time. The driver confirmed over phone that he would leave for airport once I have collected the baggage and that's exactly what he did. So the driver hardly waited for 5-10 mins at the airport. Hence the waiting charge is highly unfair. What made it worse was that driver instructed us to get to drop off lane for pick up which is against the law and it took us extra time to find the place and we were charged for that time too when we should have been picked from the arrivals parking. So the two reasons given to me to justify extra waiting charges i.e. extra parking charges and extra waiting time, both don't really apply in this case. Needless to say, I will never use OTS again after this horrible experience.

“Not very good”

I paid extra to get picked up from the arrivals hall because I was coming back in the early am on my own with a young son. But because my flight was delayed about 45 minutes instead a got a rude call asking where I was and why I wasn’t ready. Then arranged a collection point in the arrival hall. Then had another call saying to meet outside near premier inn. So in the end I had to do exactly what I didn’t want - wander about in the cold and dark with luggage and exhausted child trying to find some location and some random car with lots of confused phone calls in between.

“Shady pricing model”

I use this company regularly, and normally their service is OK to good. I had a recent problem with a driver who arrived way to late and I had to drive myself, but that was the exception to the rule. I booked this week for my partner (foreign lady) to go from my home to Luton Airport. I have made this journey more than 20 times with this company. She was collected on time and the driver / car were fine. What took us by surprise was that no more than 10 mins into the journey the driver is asking her where she would like to be dropped off? I booked to be dropped off at 'Luton Airport' and the last 20 times this was the official drop off area. Now the driver was saying would you prefer the free area or the drop off area. If you want the drop off area please pay an additional £5. Now if you know Luton airport, the 'free drop off' is the mid term car park some 700m from the airport. You have to cross the main road into the airport, take a narrow path under the bridge area, and then make your way across the bus / taxi area. This is all uncovered, and is not easy to navigate with heavy bags as the inclines are steep. The official drop off area is flat, 150m to the airport and covered all the way. My partner, not knowing the airport only knows the official drop off area. It was raining hard, and she had a heavy bag. I spoke with the driver, he demanded £5. I rang OTS, they told me this was their normal policy. Strange that 20+ previous times this never happened. I asked to speak with a manager - they refused. They are in breach of Distance Selling laws (order on the internet, the rules are clear). Their conditions state all Tolls are included. I wrote to them with evidence of their terms and conditions, that they don't offer the 'option' to choose drop off area, and that there is no statement of where they would drop you. They claimed that drop off = parking and not included. Luton Airport website states categorically that if you leave a car unattended in the drop off area it will be removed and impounded (i.e. it is not parking). I will be writing to Trading Standards, to charge additional fares once passengers are onboard on a pre-paid internet journey is not legal or ethical. Welcome to the new world of OTS. No interest in being reasonable. If the price was advertised I'd have been OK with it. They have changed their policy, are duping customers and leave you with pretty well little choice but to pay more once you are captive in their cars.

Try avoiding this company as I read other messages I got even lucky I cancelled my booking as it could have led to a worse. I have not received booking confirmation in the next 5 hours and couple of chat messages with them. So I decided to cancel this trip as it already looked suspiciously poor service. They did not return money referring to T£C and in fact it does say no return if cancel in the less that 24 hours, fair enough. The problem I had is I had to cancel non existing booking . I did not recieve any confirmation so booking hasnot started .
