“The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”

written by Snowy11 on 09/06/2014

This film is a bit of a slow boiler but once you get into it, it really is a beautiful film. It makes you stop and think about life and what really matters. It has some really beautiful cinematography, tremendous acting especially from the supporting cast and will take you on a journey that will bury itself in your memory. If you like off the wall films you'll like this. Ben Stiller directed this movie and I think there is always extra merit in giving a film a go, where the actor has a vested interest in the role. But don't take my word for it ..........

“Life Inspiring Film, You Have To Watch”

written by 126Moore on 03/06/2014

The film is about a bored hard working man, his job is processing negatives for a very big company. The special thing about him is that he is a day-dreamer. He can turn his daily routine into a fantastic adventure story. He begins to have some problems with his job and he has to take action in the real world, surprisingly it becomes a real adventure he could never have imagined before.

Ben Stiller stars as a boring day-dreamer worker. Kristen Wiig stars as a beautiful co-worker whom Ben is falling in love with. There is not lots of animations and special effects in this film but you can see many beautiful scenes such as a volcano eruption, mountains in the Himalayas and a snow leopard.
I have given it a 5 star rating because I am absolutely in love with it. It is really fantastic, it gives you many ideas to inspire your life. It is a very good balance between indy and comedy. The best scene for me is when Sean O'Connell said "Beautiful things do not ask for any attention" when he saw a snow leopard, it really touched me.
