London Review Of Books Seems To Offer Some Quite G
London Review Of Books seems to offer some quite good information on books, current issues etc. I agree that you tend to find more literary and therefore obscure books here (more likely to find Seamus Heaney than Katie Price) but that's generally good.Although it's a small thing, the name and the site seems to imply greater quality of information, and it does deliver.

There Are Definitely Some Excellent And Brilliantl
There are definitely some excellent and brilliantly written reviews in the London Review of Books. I would however say that for me the title is a little misleading as I personally was looking for a Magazine that reviewed books. LRB is however more of a collection of articles on politics and current issues, with a few reviews of obscure books that the average Joe in the street will have little interest in reading. If like me you read for enjoyment with a little education thrown in occasionally for good measure, then stay away from this. If your tastes are politics/current issues, and you read to be educated and not entertained, then this is the magazine for you.
I couldn' t agree more. Having subscribed for a year, persuaded by a special offer, I unsuscribed after three issues. The general intellectual tone was way above my head.

London Review Of Books - Frequent, Broad, And In-d
London Review of Books - Frequent, broad, and in-depth coverage of books, covering literature, history, science, whatever. Regular features, such as "Shortcut." Occasional short story from a collection. Subscribers to LRB also enjoy access to the full archive online at no additional charge. Plus the personals section in the back of the magazine is unrivalled as far as I am concerned! 24 issues a year. (More or less bi-weekly.)
