Take out insurance with AA but they just act as a middle man for another firm. So when you decide to cancel or need anything they don’t want know and pass you onto some 2 bob firm. In my case the firm they passed me on to went into admistration a week later (ignition select) who in turn passed my insurance on to another 2 bob firm (autonet) who I’m battling with to get refund on cancelled policy. They owe me £630. First I was told refund within 3 days of cancelling. Then receive a letter a week later saying 7-14 days. Then 16 days later still no refund and they say they require proof that I ever purchased the policy !! So after providing proof I now have another 7-14 days to wait to be issued a cheque which takes 5 days to clear. Funny because when I paid the money went from my bank instantly. But when it’s their turn to pay I have to wait best part of a month to receive a cheque. In this day and age I can transfer money instantly. But a multi million pound concern can’t. Amazes me. Thanks AA for selling me this insurance from these people and the wash your hands of it. Never using you again.

The AA in there great wisdom have decided that vans are nothing like cars so your No Claims Discount can not be transferred back to a car from a van

Another scam by yet another greedy company what a very nasty man

Moved all commercial Insurance Policies to Commercial Insurance Direct from the AA. I have now been holding for 1hr and 4 mins! Now that seems crazy but i need to add somone to my Policy for a trip tomorrow. I have to hold to get the amendment actioned. I tried on line but it did not like the Policy number, so i have no choice but to hold at a cost of an 0870 to our small business.
