Forrest Gump is one of the most beautiful movies I've seen. It's been a while since I've seen a film without just wanting to get through it quickly, because I genuinely loved all aspects of it. If you're looking for something to just unwind, but at the same time to learn about life in the most subtle ways, this is the perfect one.

The idea of making a film which shows the life of a struggling man who faces challenges but at the same time achieves success on several occasions is just incredible. The fact that he got attention he never strived to attain from others is amazing.

What can I say about this masterpice, just now completed watching it and after the movie ends, I kept on thinking about the ones who I loved and who are closer to me and I realized that life is beautiful and if we know how to utilize the benefits of it every day is a paradise, coming to the movie there are no words, it teaches you a lesson of life and it also shows you how to live happily.

A truly heartwarming film that was revolutionary at the time. It still is magical, Tom Hanks is phenomenal as Forrest Gump. Only a great actor could play a character like Forrest, and not be annoying or over-sentimental. For historical nerds like myself, this film is a treasure trove.

This movie has no plot. It has some story inconsistencies. One of the characters is extremely underdeveloped and was introduced too late into the movie which would be Forrest's son Forrest Gump Jr. The pacing is slow. The film is narrated by Forrest telling his life story to any random stranger whom he is sitting next to on a bench outside in public.
