My husband and I just got back from a fabulous trip through the Canadian Rockies, arranged by Rocky Mountain Holidays. A major highlight of this trip was a ride on the Rocky Mountaineer train. I had never booked a trip through a travel agent before, always preferring to make my own plans. But this time, I decided to take a leap of faith, because I knew nothing about the Canadian Rockies, and because he was so highly recommended. It turns out, my decision was a good one, because everything went so smoothly and saved us so much work.

He arranged our entire trip, including our booking for the Rocky Mountaineer train, and all the tours by motorcoach after the train trip was over. There were tours to Jasper, Yoho Park, Lake Louise, and Banff. There were experiences like riding in a gondola over snow-capped mountains, and cruising in a vehicle over a giant glacier. Before and during our trip, we appreciated his responsiveness to our many questions. This made the whole process seamless and worry-free. His years of experience served us so well.

Our party of 4 wanted to book a Grand Circle Tour on the Rocky Mountaineer Railroad. We were recommended to contact Rocky Mountain Holidays from a previous traveler. Without a doubt this was the best expert travel agent we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Our party of 4 included a special needs person and he took care of every detail for our trip to ensure everything was in order. This trip was beyond expectations and it was all due to his experience, and willingness to go the extra mile. When we travel again he will be the first person we contact. Besides being a true professional in every sense of the word, he is also a very nice person to visit with. Well done....you earned 5 stars for sure!!

Four of us booked our bucket list trip through the Canadian Rockies. Our itinerary was perfect and included all the places we wanted to see. Everything was planned and well executed for us..the hotels, the transfers to the train, lodging and excursions were exactly what we had hoped to experience. We boarded the Rocky Mountaineer in Vancouver and went to Kamloops, Banff and Calgary. We saw lakes and waterfalls, went on a cowboy cookout, saw the Calgary stampede grounds. Our trip was amazing from start to finish. Every detail was planned and executed perfectly. Our highest recommendations to  Rocky Mountain Holidays for the careful planning of our trip of a lifetime.

We are on day 10 of a 12-day westbound trip from Calgary to Vancouver. At every step of the way he has been knowledgeable and super helpful. We have enjoyed every aspect of the itinerary thus far.

We are going on the Rocky Mountaineer train starting in the morning and expecting more great things.

Knowing what I know now, I would return to Jasper before Banff. Jasper has a more laid back feel that appeals to me.

We have just returned from a life experience holiday on the Rocky mountaineer which was wonderfully planned at Rocky Mountain holidays the whole experience went without a hitch and he was very approachable and helpful and we would not hesitate in recommending Rocky Mountain holidays to anyone thanks again.

After arriving in Vancouver in late August 2023 our excursion on the Rocky Mountaineer to Banff was one that was impacted due to the wild fires. Our Rocky Mountain Holidays representative contacted us immediately despite the late hour and his own community being impacted by the fires. He generously spent his time problem solving with us and ultimately provided everything we needed to be reimbursed for our loss. The customer focus was unparalleled! Definitely consider Rocky Mountain Holidays when booking your Rocky Mountaineer excursion!

We were finally able to do the trip (thank you covid!) and it didn't disappoint. The interaction with Rocky Mountaineer from start to finish was flawless and the organisation along the way was first rate. Interactions from the booking agent, the onground staff and those on the train were great - at no time were we left wondering what we had to do next. The onboard food & beverages went beyond our expectations.

I am happy to report that Rocky Mountain Holidays did a fabulous job of planning our trip through the Canadian Rockies. Every transport that we needed was arranged in advance. Every lodging that was needed was ready and waiting for us. And, every excursion that had been advertised was accomplished without a hitch. Even the weather, which had been forecast to turn bad, relented and stayed lovely the whole time!

We are especially grateful to to our tour director, for his cheerful attitude through the months that preceded our wonderful experience, all the way up to the present. In spite of many questions and inquiries about special accommodations for four aged (ancient?) travelers, there was never a hit of impatience from him.

In closing, we highly recommend Rocky Mountain Holidays as a Number One tour company. We were delighted all the way through, and we're sure that you will be too!

We had the great pleasure of working with the agent and having his help with booking and fine tuning our holiday. His guidance, assistance, and fine work in compiling and organizing our Rocky Mountaineer trip was invaluable. Perhaps most valuable was his ability to adjust accommodations to help us stay within budget. For example, our preference was for Gold Service aboard the train but some savings on lodging, which he was able to arrange without any sense of compromise. (We still were at Chateau Lake Louise but didn't need lake view rooms; he chose a downtown Banff hotel--instead of the Fairmont--in a perfectly wonderful location closer to shops, restaurants, etc.) All in all, thanks, we had a fantastic experience!
