My daughter travelled to Downton abbey with her friends and brought me back the most exquisite Satins and Silks handbag from the Downton Abbey gift shop a couple of years ago. It is gorgeous and such high quality. My daughter is at uni so I recently was able to purchase from their online shop for her forthcoming Graduation Ball. It's one of those shops that is so unique and niche and not at all main stream so for her to find out about it enabled me to reciprocate to her with such beauty of gift items. What also impressed me is that the item I bought for her will never go out of fashion such is the fashionable ethos of style. My money was spent well with longevity in mind! She will be able to reuse her beautiful handbag again in the future. I did ask if they would personalise her item and she told me they added a personalised gift card with my message on and put it inside the handbag. How sweet is that?! :) I can't recommend this lovely company enough.

I am delighted with quality. Silk handbags are very comfortable for usage. It considers being basic and for everyday usage. Great quality, beautifully designed. I love.

My wife and I travelled to Downton Abbey a couple of years ago as part of a Tour Package treat for her birthday, this was when we first saw the products as a selected stockist for their gift shop range. My wife was in absolute awe with their Victorian handbag range. She left with a beautiful evening handbag and couldn't stop looking at it all day. The bag has been well used and stood the test of time having used it for fine dining events, a round the world cruise ship holiday ...and even at the local constitutional club! where my wife always receives the most wonderful compliments. We didn't know anymore about this business. Fast forward to now ! we visited the Scottish Borders on holiday and that's when we stumbled across Satins and Silks again...they certainly get around! It was quite uncanny. Shes sinced purchased mirrors and another evening bag for her sister. I thought id ring them to tell them where we first saw them, and they very kindly gave us a discount voucher. We cant recommend this company enough.. their high class products and their lovely manner to customers.

Over on a stag do from Leitrim...and those Irish eyes were a smiling back being served by this young lady...bought the silk handbag to keep my own lady sweet. Newcastle is a grand place and coming across this upmarket stall along the river before heading home was a plus.

I would have liked to have picked up a nice silk tie for my brother's wedding but they didn't sell these.....aye well...a must for the ladies to be sure.
