Ecover Washing Liquid

I switched to buying Ecover washing up liquid a couple of months ago and I am very glad I did so. Its a wiser choice to make for your kitchen, your environment, and your wallet.

The washing up results themselves are as good as with any other product I have used. Dishes are left with a distinct shine, and its especially tough on strong grease. It has a pleasant fragrance as well - I like the pomegranate and lime version.

My main reason for buying this product was its eco friendly approach. Its concentrated, so you can use half the amount of a standard washing up liquid with results that are just as good. The bottle is fully recyclable and made entirely from plant based material. The product itself is very mild, so good for sensitive skin.

Price wise, I am pleased that this product is on par with other washing up liquids like fairy. However, it lasts a lot longer due to the 'concentrated' nature of the product.

The reason I am only able to give this product 4 stars is because I have found that it can leave a nasty 'flavour' on your dishes and cups if it isn't rinsed off thoroughly. I now have to make sure that when I wash my dishes I give them an extra rinse in hot water to make sure all residues are thoroughly removed - otherwise you may experience a slight flavour of washing up liquid in your cup of tea!
