Definitely Worth The Queuing
We awoke at 4 AM and got to Wimbledon for 4.45 that morning and joined the queue. There was already a fair amount of people waiting to get in and that was not including the campers who stayed overnight for tickets.
We were very lucky, at 9.30 the gates were opened and we received some of the last wristbands for Court Number Two.
Everyone in the queue was in good spirits and we kept bumping into people who we had met throughout the day. The staff around Wimbledon all looked happy and made us feel very welcome. We watched some superb tennis ( on the day that three seeds were knocked out) and the weather was great too (no rain!).
Even though it was very busy we got food easily and regular drinks of Pimms too. To be expected, it wasn't that cheap, but not as pricey as some festivals and more generous.
I had a brilliant day and left smiling. I would really recommend everyone spending at least one day queuing for Wimbledon as it really is worth it.

At Last The Greatest Tennis Competition In The Wor
At last the greatest tennis competition in the world is back. Wimbledon is a great 2 week competition full of history and tradition. The worlds greatest tennis players will step out in to what we can only hope will be good weather and give all they've got to be crowned Wimbledon champion. I would love to be able to take 2 weeks off work and sit at home and watch every minute of it. Good Luck Murray, lets hope you can be this years Wimbledon Champion.
Just Started Playing Tennis So Looking Forward To
Just started playing tennis so looking forward to this years Wimbledon, hoping to learn a few new tricks. Being a member of a tennis club I maybe be lucky enough to get tickets, but I probably wont end up with them. Always wanted to visit the event, especially the Strawberries and Champagne. Maybe I will splash out and try and get some tickets to see a Brit win the title, one can only dream. Or maybe I should just stay at home and save the money.
