Ribble Valley Hog Roast, Lancashire

Wedding catering and drinks should have been supplied - we paid in advance.  She took advantage of this and provided very little of what we had agreed & paid for. We contacted her the day before our wedding as we were setting up the venue - she said I'm busy, I'll see you tomorrow. We needed the Tablecloths cutlery and napkins to lay the tables and decorate them - she said we never asked for them. Panic set in.

As the bride, I was so insulted when I arrived at the venue to find my guests laying the tables and my parents serving the table wine we had bought to my guests (we asked for a bottle bar - no bottles arrived nor Ice to cool the drinks). RVHR arrived alone to set up and serve 100 guests food and drinks a couple of hours before we arrived - nothing was as planned and nothing was organised, again she said we didn't ask for staff, we did! Stale sandwiches for afternoon tea - we had asked for hot drinks all day, didn't happen. she was rude to me, rude to my guests - had my DJ and Marquee man helping her serve. She looked very scruffy (in see through leggings!). I was really upset overall that after a year of planning the day nothing she did was good - she never congratulated us and sloped off before the end of the night never to be seen again - Thanks for ruining my wedding day - A day I'll never forget for all the wrong reasons!

These guys know what there doing, everything was so easy and well communicated from start to finish, all the chefs on the day we're professional and very good, really tasty gourmet 3 course dinner we had for a wedding. I can't say thank you enough they really brought an extra dimension to a perfect wedding day!! Thanks guys!!! I will be recommending to everyone!

A man from RVHR provided the catering for our wedding in September 2014. The catering was absolutely perfect and He and his team just couldn't do enough for us. The food was absolutely delicious and was thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him and his team for making our wedding so special and perfect for us.

Everything was absolutely perfect, wonderful service, the booking was easy & everything was taken care of from start to finish.

An absolutely fantastic way to enjoy a wedding meal. The food was fantastic with all the guests saying how great the food was and how friendly you were. The salads which are not my favourite even had me going up again for seconds and the deserts were exactly what we wanted too. They even packaged up the left over pork for the dog!!

Very helpful before the wedding aswell which was great as it's a pretty hectic time and they made it so easy for us.

Would strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional and extremely helpful hog roast company.

A really fantastic Hog Roast experience from the team.

I can't thank the team at Ribble Valley Hog roast enough for catering a recent birthday party for me.

They completely took all the stress away from the catering aspect of the party providing not only the Hog Roast but also an array of canapes, a beautiful selection of salads, a fresh salmon and desserts too.

They also supplied all the cutlery and crockery which meant that I could just put them all in boxes the next day (no washing up) and they were collected and taken away.

From the moment the team arrived and set up 6 hours before serving, I knew this would be a fantastic experience. All the food was unbelievably fresh, the team were professional, organised and extremely hygienic.

To see the Hog roast cook through out the day was a sight to behold and the unbelievable smell left us all licking our lips!

The team served my guests with canapes which were fantastic and the actual Hog Roast was tremendous. Everyone without exception thoroughly enjoyed the food but also the eating experience.

Even at the end when we had some leftovers, the team wrapped them all up for me so we could have them after - we have now been eating delicious pulled pork for 3 days!!

Whilst I have not experienced a hog roast before, a number of my guests had and they all said it was the best they had tasted.

I cannot recommend Ribble Valley Hog Roast enough, not only for the delicious food but also for taking all the stress out of my party which left me to drink too much with my friends!

Absolutely fantastic service from beginning to end really, communication before hand, A made sure everything was in order and correct, v well organised, then on the day well I've got to start with the Pulled pork that literally fell off the bone with THE best crackling I have ever had everybody loved it with beautiful coleslaw made fresh the salads were good too. No mess everything clean and tidy well organised as Ive said. Came and found me at the end made sure everything was ok! Absolutely

We had a garden party at the beginning of August for about 60 people at which i was originally going to have a BBQ, I am so glad I changed my mind and went for something slightly different. I contacted Ribble Valley Hog roast and explained that I wanted them to do the whole event, i.e hiring of the tables and chairs, cutlery, crockery , bar etc.... All the people recommended / provided by them were excellent . Although everyone went above and beyond the bar staff in particular stood out, courteous, polite and efficient. I cannot praise them highly enough. From the moment everyone arrived everything ran smoothly and efficiently,the professionalism of the staff was exceptional, the quality and taste of the food was superb, the service was excellent. I would definitely use them again

Robble Valley Hog Road are simply brilliant. From the first time we contacted him to the conclusion of our event on Saturday, he has been amazing. Our wedding was perfect and he helped to make it the best day ever. His support was second to none and he did an amazing job. The food selection was excellent, cooked wonderfully and served superbly.
