Time-outs & Delays

The good: Lots of templates, easy to figure out, easy to design webpages, easy to upload pictures, easy to add text, great features.

The bad: WHEN the website loads, it works. After my free 7 day trial I signed up for one year of service and paid my fee. As I started to build my pages the site got slower... and slowerrrr ... and now finally it's a 50/50 chance if I can even sign in to the "hub" login page. I've lost endless texts and paragraphs, received "multiple login" errors when I was the only person designing the site, and have probably wasted over 5 hours of my life watching the little arrow spin forever around in circles waiting to load a page, edit an update, or accept a modification. Naturally I'm too involved to give up now, so I will continue to waste my time and wonder if when the time comes, will my guests be able to actually VIEW the website, or will they just time-out into infinity as well? If I could do it over I would choose another website company.

Overall, I Really Like This Site. Of Course This

Overall, I really like this site. Of course this being the only site I've used, I can only review this site and cannot do a comparison analysis. I like that they have a lot of templates. I was able to see the templates and see if there's one I like before I sign up. They have a 7-day eval period with the expiration date clearly stated. The cost is also very reasonable. It's $30 for a year. I think that buying a year's subscription should entitle you to a domain name, but to buy that is only an extra $15. Other sites charge $90 for a year and includes the domain name. You still come out ahead. You can also buy your site on CD to have forever. I may not look at it ever again, but I like that.

It took a couple of hours to get used to the layout of the website and where to go to do stuff, but once you're acclimated, it took no effort at all to fix, edit, enhance your site.

I would say that if you're an excellent HTML programmer, Flash programmer, and you're not planning your own wedding, you'd be better off creating a site yourself. But if you want a beautiful wedding website that's easy to put together, I'd recommend Wed Quarters.
