Amazing Service

The Wedding Wardrobe was the first dress shop I went to. I was very nervous, and was almost certain I would not find my wedding dress in the first shop I went to - in my head, this was a sort of training exercise!

As soon as I got there, Lynn put me at ease. She asked me the kind of styles I liked, and then pointed me in the right direction so I could start looking through the rails. I picked out 3 or 4 dresses and started trying them on. I was really worried about being in my underwear in front of a stranger while trying dresses on as I still have a bit of weight to lose, but honestly Lynn was amazing. By the time I was finished I nearly forgot to put my clothes back on I was that relaxed, and the whole time we were laughing and joking - I felt like I had known her forever!

And while I was trying on dresses, the other lady in the store had been foraging away and found a few more dresses for me to try on - after listening to me saying I didn't want a big full skirt as I felt it made my hips look bigger, and I didn't want anything too heavy. All of the dresses she suggested were amazing and suited my shape perfectly - their attention to detail was second to none.

In the end, I was more or less decided on a dress, but had doubt in my mind as it was the first shop I had been to. So off I went to my other appointments. None of the other shops even came close to the level of service I received at Wedding Wardrobe. In one shop, I kept saying, "I don't want a full skirt and I don't want 10 layers of material", etc and she just said, "ok we don't have anything then". I was in and out in 10 minutes! Despite them all being bigger, Wedding Wardrobe had by far a better selection of shapes and styles.

So, I rang them up and asked if I could pop back to try on 'the one' one more time (I actually live in London, so explained I couldn't make another appointment until end of July if not) - they were very accommodating, and when I got there 15 minutes later they were ready and waiting with my dress, as well as shoes, veils and hair bands galore.

I now have the most amazing wedding dress, and very happy memories of dress shopping with my bridesmaids and my Mam. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Wedding Wardrobe!

I can't recommend this shop highly enough, if not for the dresses - which are amazing - just for the customer service!
