I received a call from the company with an impressive rate with a flight with ethopian airline. After the initial payment following agreed price with one of their staff, I was told the booking is secured and guaranteed and was requested to pay a set balance the next day. As agreed, I furfilled my side of agreement by making the payment the next morning.
When I phone hours latter to get my ticket issued, the price was inflated, claiming that the airline has increased the price.
The point is, my understanding of securing a booking is to (a) secure the seat and (b) to secure the price.
Clearly, travel house used the gimic of tying customer with a deposit, then hammer them with a higher price, knowing that it will be harder to turn back.
Customer should be aware of the pitfall and safe guide themself.
I do not want this to happen to anyone else
