Riviera travel started good by being very frindly and sending the paperwork out swiftly. 5 weeks before we were due to travel, they called to say that they had forgotten to book the flights !! We would have to fly at 07.20am to Milan and then wait 2 hours for the flight to Bari (southern Italy) reaching there at 6.40 in the evening. The journey back would be the same. 2 whole days spent in the airport and the planes. So we cancelled. The customer service guy, who could not be more apologetic, promised to request a refund immediately as we had to find another holiday. After 2 days the money was still not in my bank so I called to check. They had only just refunded the money. As I had found another holiday I had to pay on a credit card, incurring extra charges. Unfortunately we will not be looking at what they have to offer in the future
