Having booked a weekend break to Valencia for 6 people, I noticed that the hotel charge had increased by £120 - without having been notified before booking of any increase. After dozens of emails, they admitted that this was a so-called "Hotel Booking Fee".
Their website states “There are no hidden prices or surcharges when booking with lowcostholidays.com.”
After dozens of emails, requesting that they either explain or refund this pseudo Booking Fee, I have not had any satisfactory explanation, and they have refused any refund.
After advice from CAB, I have been advised to take my claim against them to the Small Claims Court.
My Lowcost holidays booking ref is 6178488.
I could write a book on how every response from them has been bluff after bluff but I have wasted enough time - they are 100% idiots and I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
