Used locost Holidays in 2011 and booked virtually same holiday this year ie same resort and hotel, as very happy with the way our holiday was arranged and had a lovely time - no complaints whatsoever. However, this time although our plane landed at 11 am and we were actually on the coach ready to be taken to our hotel in Puerto Rico, which is about a 40 minutes journey, we did not arrive until 2 pm! The coach company had filled the coach with people travelling to other resorts, therefore we spent 2 1/2 hours driving round Maspalomas, Playa del Ingles etc dropping people off and unfortunately Puerto Rico was the last one ( and our hotel was not the last). Once we arrived at our hotel we had a wonderful 9 nights holiday. On the day of depature we were collected at 2.45 pm for a 6 pm flight. Yet again we did a tour of the various resorts stopping numerous times picking others up. We did not arrive at the airport until 4.30 and by the time we had queued at the one check in desk, it was a frantic dash to the boarding gate - thank goodness we had paid extra and booked our seats! Therefore we had no time to look round the shops or have something to eat and drink and this meant we had to pay exorbitant prices on our Ryannair plane, eg 3 euros for a small bottle of water! The transer experiences really put a dampner on what was otherwise a great holiday.
