Easy & convenient

Laterooms is very easy to use. Option to show all hotels etc on a map and then being able to click on them is a very useful feature. The listings of hotel by distance, rating, price etc (you can select which) is also very useful. Confirmation of your booking is prompt. Your selections including total price payable, room details, cancellation policy etc are emailed and very concise for easy reference. Beware -the website suggests that you are getting the rooms discounted due to late booking and summarises how much money you have saved. This is misleading as I have found that in some cases, I have ended up paying more for the room than I would if I had booked directly with the hotel or guesthouse. Some proprietors have told us that it is because Laterooms charges them for the booking so I presume the cost is being passed on to us the customer. To avoid paying in excess, I would advise going directly to the hotel/guesthouse website first to check the standard price before booking through Laterooms.
