“Awkward to book. ”

I found the hotel I wanted online but it told me to call to check availability. Why couldn't I book online? They didn't answer the phone straight away so placed me on hold. The phone operator had a foreign accent and was difficult to understand. He was helpful just would have been less fuss had I not to to call up to book. This has never happened before...he didn't explain why. It was just awkward- I didn't want to talk to a person I wanted to book online.
The price was reasonable and they emailed my confirmation while I was still on the phone to them which was good.
