Firstly, please be aware photos of old style building in Horsley Park is not where we we placed....we were in 'Management Centre' looking every bit like a T'Lodge.
No Air conditioning in very dark room.....tiny window, with even smaller opening. Carpets filthy. Even the room phone filthy. When requested move to another room either with Air-con or larger window, nothing available. We were initially informed no fan either, but when it seemed we were serious on not staying for even one night, we were informed a small fan would be available.
Very disappointing, ESP as part do DeVere Group.....have they taken eye off ball?
One final point.....Hotel running offer of £19 a one would have thought for a customer paying £99 for a 'so called' slightly better room (G-d knows what standard room like......probably good for roasting chestnuts, as our room a sweat box ) they would be helped, ESP when lots of people were booking in after us.
Spoilt my weekend plans with wife. Very little else available on such short notice, so we returned home.
Have stayed in many Hotels over the years including a few DeVere.....never want to see this place again!

As I'm sure you will appreciate, the Hotel failed on a number of issues.
This is the first time in all the years I have travelled that I considered it necessary to put such a negative review.
The Hotel failed on so many counts:
1/ Deceiving photo of Hotel as displayed
2/ Lack of air conditioning or even Fan for room
3/ A small dark room with one small window, that only partially opened
4/ Filthy Carpets, phone, etc
5/ Being sold a room for £99 when promos in house much much cheaper. Price was not the issue, but it didn't help!
My Trip Advisor review has been challenged by another guest, who suggests one is a long time dead to bother complaining & how reception at Hotel has a very hard task of dealing with so many unsatisfied customers...I think that says it all!!
