We booked flights online with Esperanza Travel, a D.O.B entry needed to be changed, they tried to charge 250GBP for this change, on calling the airline direct it was changed for free. My parents received confirmation from the airline prior to travel, turned up to check in for the flight, Esperanza had not completed the booking and made payment for the flight. Following this, the extremely helpful airport staff proceeded to contact Esperanza to resolve the situation. Esperanza took 4hrs to resolve the booking, charging additional monies for the same tickets, Esperanza had our credit card details stored and did not require any details to complete the payment, causing terrible stress with no urgency to resolve. Very lucky we arrived early to the airport. Absolutely disgraceful.

The agent was polite and helpful, but the service was unbelievably slow. It took them an hour to get my tickets. When paying £500 to a new company for the first time, you expect prompt service. Instead, the agent disappeared from the chat and I was left in limbo for a long time, wondering whether I would ever see my tickets. I am really not impressed by the wait and would not use this company again.

The agent was extremely helpful and made a great effort to find the best deal for me. Very good about phoning back and resolving problems.

I’ve purchased my flight and after that I got an email from the company telling me that the price went up and they cannot guarantee the same price I had to pay more money. I think that’s ridiculous and they cannot do it to customers. It’s absurd!!!!!!!!!

This issue seems to be a reoccurring one with this company: You find your flight, book it, it all seems to be confirmed and then you receive an e-mail to let you know that the airline was 'unable to confirm the seat selection due to unforeseen circumstances'. You're advised to contact the company and somehow they're able to guarantee the very same flight if you pay substantially more than the original price advertised and those unforeseen circumstances no longer apply. When I called to request to cancel the entire order, the agent was very vague and said that because another agent had dealt with the original purchase (even though I bought it online with the help of no agents) then I would have to wait for this agent to come out of a meeting and only he could cancel it. While this person was very polite and I'm sure only following protocol, his answered seemed to be intentionally vague. Eventually I insisted that I cancel the flight with them as all the waiting around in the meantime would cause the flight prices to increase and miraculously he was able to do this. When I book a long-haul flight for a lot of money, I expect the company I do it through to be able to honour its prices and give customers' peace of mind that they're actually receiving what they think they're purchasing, this company cannot do this. Also, as a side note, I was directed to this company from Momondo where I had selected a certain flight time, when I was transferred to this website the time of the flight changed. I booked without even realising it. While it was my responsibility to check that everything was correct, I feel that if you select a specific time on Momondo to be redirected to this website, then that should be what happens.

My telephone purchase of an international flight was handled politely, helpfully and very professionally. Communications were carefully handled using three way checking. Excellent service.

It is a decepcion. They offer the flight and price, trought their website and when they contact you they can not offer the price they are advertising. The poor excuse the can give you is that the site can only be updated only after 72 hours. The offer still there but they can not honor the price. Don't trust this company. Only one interpretation::::: IT IS A TRICK.

DONT BUY FROM THEM. The good reviews are fake, all of them.

As soon as I finished paying they call that I had to pay 100£ more because there was no availability, completely disrespectuful company.

Dont book with them. If you really need to travel or want to have a good experience dont even try to book with them.

I was referred to Esperanza Travel by Cheapflights.co.uk. They advertise flights at a great price. When you apply for the flight they accept the booking (and payment details). Next step is an e mail later to say flights are no longer available at this price presumably followed by an attempt to sell you the same flight at an enhanced rate if you respond to their invitation to call them. I challenged what was happening by e mail and they just ignored me. I've never had this experience with travel companies referred by Skyscanner or Kayak. My recommendation is to stay well clear.
