A 'better than expected' experience.

After having booked this last minute winter sun destination at an incredibly cheap price we were resigned to the fact that it might not be that great. How wrong we were the Hotel Kenzi Europa is a newly refurbished hotel in a lovely kitsch style in a fantastic location with lovely friendly staff.
The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable with A/c and fridge, hairdryer, bath with shower,flat screen tv and balcony. Our room had to accommodate an extra bed for our child but we were not cramped for space at all. Wardrobe was huge but we would have benefited from some drawer space instead of shelving. I really could have done with a dressing table mirror too as this had the flat screen tv in the place where the mirror would normally be. There is a large wall mirror in the bathroom though and luckily I had my own magnifying mirror with me.
The bathroom was lovely and modern with bidet, bath shower, hairdryer and plenty of space.
The restaurant is perfectly adequate with a different offering on the buffet every day. Only complaint being that we would have preferred more fresh fruit on offer at breakfast and the coffee machine was a little random. (My latte always came out as hot chocolate or something?). Freshly squeezed orange juice and Moroccan tea were served every morning.
Location is one of the best in Agadir for ease to get to everywhere. 2 mins to beach, bird park, supermarket and bars and restaurants. As we opted for a sea view room we had a lovely view of the sunset every evening and could see the resort spread out in front of us.
Pools were good and well maintained and one was heated but being Feb was still quite cold.
Staff were lovely and appreciated if you attempted to speak some French, which is only polite in my opinion. Drinks were served in glasswear as apposed to plastic and were not rationed as they can be on all inc hotels sometimes.
All in all I would say this is a really good choice of a hotel if you decide on Agadir for a destination.
