Guest's review of Dr George's Teeth Whitening System

“Blue laser light unit”

Written on: 28/09/2013

I took the decision to purchase Dr G Dental White kit. As for the Gel I believe it is working which is brill.
What is disappointing is having read carefully all the info on the leaflet and on the box and spent time on their site I cant find ANYWHERE any helpful info on what I should be doing with the laser light gun which was in the box.
So if someone can get back to me on how when etc this gadget should be used, that would be great.

The LED light is rubbish, it is only good to use for a flashlight. No $1.00 light is going to activate or accelerate any sort of gel... The entire kit is a Low grade China... The $3500.00 laser from the Dentist, will help, when used with a different gel, This led light is a famous seller from China, and is used to entice customers into buying the kit... They are sold in packs of 100 for about $4.00-$5.00 a kit direct from China.. Any company selling a kit that includes a led light is selling products from China, including the gel, which is scary as there is no regulations over there and if there were they would not follow them. This is why the kits are sold for as low as 10.00-15.00 , Be Careful. The gel could harm your gums and also damage your enamel on your teeth which can not be replaced. Many of these companies, have them make the gel a 44% or higher Carbamide, or a Hydrogen Peroxide gel, in a lower level, but still not for home use, so that it just tears your teeth up and make you think it is working, but the stains will come right back, as they are not being lifted, or even lifted at all only 5 min sessions at a dentist using the expensive LASER, NOT LED light, These kits have been know to be expired gel as well.. Gel needs to be fresh so it can properly oxidize your teeth, expired gel can have a different chemical reaction I hope this helps , so many people are out buying these kinds of kts and not even knowing what they are getting... Buy from a company that only sells high quality kits and not other stuff like dvd players or iphone cases, that is a clean give away that they are selling a kit that was bought in bulk from over seas, there is links to them if you search. Also, you want a custom fitted tray from a Dental Lab. You can have your Dentist make it up or you can locate a company that sells them online and easily make the impressions yourself and save $2-300 easy, That is what I did, and they were the same that my Dentist made me about 6 years ago, but I lost them during a move, Also more than likely those labs are selling the real USA made Dental Grade gel, as the labs are inspected.... I would give the name of the place i ordered mine from but do not want to be doing that on someone elses reviews, it is not polite or correct so to speak. Quick FYI, I worked for a Dentist for a year and a half, so i picked up a little bit of knowledge, even though I was running the front reception desk and billing. I learned a lot, and also seen what the gels can do if not used correctly. or were from a reliable source. Cheers!
