Over the last several years I've gotten used to staffing agencies treating you like you're just a part of their bottom line, but my interview experience with this place just takes the cake. I'm giving it two stars because the recruiter that called me in response to my application was really pleasant. It all went down hill when she emailed me the link to answer a few questions online. Once you've completed the questions, you get a message that says to call a phone number and enter a code. From that point you're basically doing a phone interview with a machine because "it's as easy as leaving a phone message". I felt awkward. There's no time to gather your thoughts because, just like a voice mail, as soon as you hear the beep you'd better be talking. Then I got disconnected before I could finish. Honestly, I don't think I'm calling back. I have never had this sort of experience with a staffing company before. If you don't have time to speak directly with me on a personal level, how do you get a feel for what type of person I am or what type of opportunity best suits me? I think I'm going to pass on this one.
