Bought 2 Madrid Sofa's in2002 & after 4 children & 5grandchildren they are still in good condition so I'm going to get new cover's instead of new Sofa's great workmanship

“DON'T TRUST THEIR GUARRANTEES!”

This company are just appalling. Their furniture is not built to last and their promised guarrantees are worthless. The attitude is great - up until you receive the furniture - after that it's shocking. They have no idea how to secure customer loyalty or recommendations. Rude staff, no sense of care or duty to customers, shocking attitude.

“mismatched colour”

3 seater Newport wine coloured sofa ordered in april 2016.seemed very pale when received,but nothing to compare it to.Newport chair and footstool ordered in june 2016 to match sofa but several shades darker when received(which is colour sofa SHOULD have been!!!).excuse given was different batch of material.somehow could offer loose cover in new material for chair but not for sofa,so have cancelled chair/footstool as not suitable.Company has lost this order and any future order and I will NOT recommend to family and friends

“Shoddy goods returned. Worst furniture I have ever known.”

We bought sofas from this company with their 'no quibble' guarantee. Very poor quality, and the seat cushions tilt towards the centre of the sofa. Company is doing its best to deny liability for much of the problems, and they are a nightmare to deal with. This will take a lot of work to resolve, they are unprepared to do anything to help. No quibble? Rubbish. They'll quibble about every mortal thing. I would never deal with nor trust such a company again.

“don't wear white clothes..”

My mother purchased a sofa and a two seater from Oakridge only a few months ago,a red and cream striped suite. Absolutely shocking workmanship and her clothes have turned red from the dye. Her dog has even changed colour.... Avoid this crowd....

“Red dye from sofa coming of onto clothing”

I purchased two Newport Sofas ,red & white stripe in August 2015 ,straight away the red dye started coming of onto clothing ,i reported this to after sales ,who were of no help whatsoever telling me it has never happened before ,i carried on using the sofas in hope it was just the initial wear of the sofas ,even though i knew it was not right . After six months of use the dye is still coming of the furniture onto clothing ,and on moving one of the sofas i caught my white wallpaper ,leaving red dye on my wall which will not come of . On the 20th Jan i rang them again ,to report this ,i even sent some items of clothing with dye on for them to analyse ,again there customer after care were most unhelpfull ,offering to collect one sofa to test it . I am almost 70 years old and this has been very stressfull ,i have had to puchase new sofas ,as i have to cover the Oakridge ones when i have visitors to protect their clothing .I would not advise anybody to buy from this company ,as not only the dye been a problem ,if you place your hand down between the cushion and the arm you come into contact with a sharp wooden frame ,very poor workmanship

“newport range sofas”

we recently for the first time bought two 3 seater loose cover Newport sofas from Oakridge. We are very happy with them,quality with a reasonable price tag. Staff were very helpful and kept us updated about delivery would certainly recommend them. Now saving up for two sets of Duckegg loose covers.....any chance of a discount Oakridge ?

“POOR QUALITY AND ORDERING ON LINE IS A JOKE”

I have a sofa and a footstall that I bought from Oakridge Direct about two years ago - from the Madrid range. These are not expensive items but I would not advise anyone to purchase anything from the Madrid range. These items are in my dressing room and so only used by me and really do not get a lot of wear. The sofa's cushions have gone very flat, despite being 'plumped' daily, and the material has rubbed quite badly. The footstall, which never has shoes on it, only my bare feet, has rubbed so badly it has a hole in it. Yesterday I decided to order a loose cover for the footstall so I can throw away the one I have now. I ordered the item on line - they charge £10 delivery charge for an item that only cost £30 to start with! I completed the order and I got a message up with an order number and saying that I would receive an email confirming my order in the next couple of minutes. I waited no confirmation email arrived. So I telephoned them. I got a very abrupt person telling me that my order hadnt gone through because there was a problem with my card. She took my card number again and then told me that it would take two to three days to process and I would get an order confirmation sometime in the next few days. I then phoned my bank only to be told that the payment had gone through my account without any problems. I called them back and asked to speak to a supervisor - I was told that the person I was talking to was a supervisor (really?!!) and that my payment details had gone to the accounts department and that it would take two to three days to get a confirmation. I asked her why I already have a confirmation number if my order hasnt been confirmed and if I hadnt telephoned how would I know that there was a problem with my original order? She could answer that question. So at the moment I have an order number, that isnt an order number, money taken from my bank but no confirmation and no date for the arrival of my order and no one who can explain why. Oh - and I also asked to speak to the Managing Director and I was told that he doesnt take calls from customers. Shame he has a job really. No way to run a business.
