Replacement of a rusty brake dust shield

Sometimes a car lets you know something is wrong in the strangest way. In my case, it all started with a quiet ding that I first thought was just a small stone. But the sound kept repeating every time I drove over cobblestones. Curiosity eventually beat laziness, so I decided to check the suspension. It turned out that the brake dust shield on one side had simply rusted through along the edge and was slightly touching the brake disc. Not the most important part, but the noise sounded as if a tiny ghost was tapping a spoon against a pot. I ordered a new one from Autodoc, it arrived without any issues.

Experience with replacing the car battery

I found myself in a situation where the car started having trouble starting in the morning, especially in cold weather. The starter was turning slowly, and once I even had to use jumper cables. I realized that the battery had reached the end of its service life, so I decided to order a new one. I chose the battery based on its capacity and dimensions to make sure it would fit properly in its compartment. When the package arrived, I immediately checked the production date and the condition of the terminals everything was fine, with no signs of oxidation. The installation didn’t take long. The new battery fit perfectly, and the terminals tightened securely. After the replacement, the engine began to start much faster, even in cold weather.

Awful

Awful. When you order they say the items are in stock. But then the delays begin. No live customer service at all. Just a "live" chat bot that is no help at all. My order was placed weeks ago. Every few days I get an automated email telling me they are sorrry but delivery is delayed "2-3 days."

Update: Apparently Trustpilot is Autodoc's customer service portal. They contacted me in response to my review there, and determined the issue with my order, comped the shipping, and I did eventually receive my parts. I'm adjusting my review from Awful to Not Great...
