This outfit (Plumbworld) has to be the worst company I have dealt with for purchasing goods online. Do not be duped in by the low prices, the after sales, supply chain and customer service is absolutely non-existant.
I purchased goods for a bathroom refurbishment 2 weeks before the work was to commence (to allow for any late deliveries/issues). Plumbworld's website stated stock was due to arrive the next day, I therfore placed the order. 1 week later and I was still waiting for goods to arrive. Email to Customer Services (they do not have a phone number!) - and I was advised stock would arrive the next day, suffice to say it did not.
My order got split out in to 3 internal orders due to their stock issues. Eventually after 26 emails (that is just for one order by the way), my first order arrived missing a core component. No option to cancel the order, Plumbworld instead shipped a partially complete bath to me. 2 weeks and 3 deliveries later I have eventually got my order, but only after 32 emails being sent/recieved and copying in their MD.
The delivery system itself is a total nightmare. If you order something in stock, it then has to be 'picked, packed and boxed for despatch'. Now, you would think that could be done in half a day/1 day at the most? Nope. 2 days. Then the couriour collects and holds in their warehouse for another 1-2 days. When/if they contact you, you can expect to arrange a delivery within 1-2 days. So you are talking a week from something being in stock, arriving to your home. This is what is meant by 'Standard' delivery on their website.
A total farce. A very horrible experience ordering from Plumbworld - I shall never do again. Pay the extra and go to a reputable supplier.
