Nigel O'Hara - OH DEAR! I wish I had read the reviews first! Instead I looked on Google Earth and saw that they run a "proper" shop in N. Ireland. Proper!!!
What a trickster! I bought a watch that, it turns out is discontinued - as authorised sellers, they would know this? They would know that there is no stock, at the manufacturers, to order from!
Yet they are still listing the watch and still taking YOUR money, if, like me, you go for their (automatic) price beater!
After a week - no update, so I emailed and got an automated reply. Another week passed and I emailed asking for a person to reply. A person did reply but was no more helpful, no delivery estimates.
Repeat this procedure.......then a person emailed me and said that the manufacturer could not supply this discontinued watch, (surprise, surprise!) but they would offer a replacement watch (would it be in or out of stock - I didn't ask!), or a refund. I asked for an immediate refund.
The reply said that refunds can take up to 14 days - Why???
After another week, I opened a case with Paypal, I'm so glad that I paid with Paypal! A refund was forthcoming, overnight!
Summary. They "sell" what they cannot supply but take your money, anyway. They hold on to your money. Are they getting interest on YOUR money. When they, finally, admit (what they knew all along) that they can't supply, they might contact you. They make it inconvenient to get your inevitable refund.
I've read, since, on some of the forums, that they try, and sometimes succeed, to get negative reviews removed. Instead of doing this, why not provide a decent HONEST service in the first place and only sell what you can supply???.
Save the hassle and pay an extra £10, like I did, for a watch from a genuine seller, who showed how many items they had in stock and who dispatched in 24hrs.
