Ordered an item, took them over 2 days to tell me that the item was not in fact in stock.

I did get an apology and a refund but this is slow. No offer of compensation. Maybe discount off a future order? Doubt I would go there again though to be honest.

Sorry.... simply not good enough.

Ordered my 15 inch leather satchel on Friday and it was delivered the following Monday. The satchel arrived in a neat cream cotton drawstring dust bag. They kept me updated confirming the order had been placed, printed, was being packed and then despatched.

The satchel is very sturdy and well made. The leather is a wonderful rich brown with a lived in look and feel while being new. The top handle option looks great and feels comfy when carrying it.

Their price was better than the many other satchel sellers’ at £80. Scaramanga’s prices were around 25% lower.

The last thing that really convinced me to buy their satchel was their styling, which seems to be unique to Scaramanga. There are so many companies selling the same 'British leather school satchel' style bags. I really wanted something that was different from those, but had a classic leather satchel look to it. I really felt that my satchel was unique and different to not only other satchels, but other Scaramanga 15 inch satchels.

The only negative point would be the plastic polyethene postal bag it arrived in. A brown box would have looked better!

So glad I found this website and am now saving to get a leather saddle bag :D Excellent product, great company, fantastic brand and swift service.

Bag arrived with stains on the inside, stitching missing and a broken zip. Phoned to complain, only to be greeted with thoroughly unhelpful staff.

One of the more pleasant experiences that I have had on the internet, so I felt that I must write about it. The bag was of fantastic quality and looks much more expensive than it actually was. Item arrived within 48 hours of order being placed and the staff who I spoke to when I thought that I had made a mistake in the order were incredibly polite and helpful. My only concern is that somebody might me mug me for it; it looks so good and so expensive!

I have been looking for distressed leather bags everywhere. It seems that no one knows how to read my mind. I needed a bag for University and normal daily wear. I usually carry a couple of books (either regular and text books), kindle, umbrella, small bottle of water, huge wallet.. overall lots of stuff, so usually my bags become quite heavy. So, I wanted it with a handle AND a shoulder belt. I was struggling with other bags, I want them simple, without thousands of zips everywhere, but they're usually too small or with too few pockets.

Then I found Scaramanga website.

The looks of the bags were EXACTLY what I was looking for. I had plenty to choose from and I finally bought a Vintage Leather Flight Bag 2.

All my stuff fits perfectly. It has 4 pockets outside and they're perfectly shaped and easy to reach, so I have a place for everything. It seems made to last a century, and its looks are perfect. And it's cheap. And it arrived the next day. Everything with Scaramanga is perfect. I'll recommend it to everyone.

I'm plenty of happiness with the bag, it's better than i can imagine, the scaramanga's people are very friendly when they put in contact with me for answering one doubt i have, and the quality of the bag is high.

My Bag arrived today and I love it. Its a Medium sized mens satchel. It seems well made anthe leather looks great. Looks just like the one on the advert which is a relief. I ordered it on Wednesday at 4.30pm and it arrived on friday with the standard delivery.

Good luck finding as good or even better quality for anywhere near the same price

So disappointed with this bag. The bag I bought was a satchel with a strap .i was exoecting a wonderful soft leather bag with a robust strap and internal compartments. What i got is a bag that could have been made out of cardboard. The leather was stiff and unforgiving. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, hoping that it was just new leather stiffness and that it would become increasingly flexible as it matured. However, before it had time to mature the strap had become detached, the lining had come away from the leather, the zip was broken. The buckles simply refuse to stay fastened. All in all it is a huge disappointment, a total waste of money and a lesson learned. I wont be back, I won't be recommending this to a friend, and I won't be buying a leather bag online again. Terrible. And 8 months in it still isn't flexible. Sigh. Not so cheap and far too tatty.

I absolutely LOVE my new school satchel. It is exactly as described, but even more beautiful! The leather is sturdy and has a gorgeous vintage dark brown colour that am sure will age very nicely. The design is exactly what I wanted and so hard to find. I search on Google and saw some from Cambridge Satchel Co, but they had a thin shoulder strap and weren't vintage looking enough for me. I did a LOT of research, Scaramanga's were the best looking. Their design is very simple, well made and look fab. I am sure it'll look great in 15 years time. Thanks Scaramanga!! Oh, and did I mention the price, cheaper than others I looked at. My best friend already wants one as well!!

I have just bought the most beautiful leather satchel flight bag from scaramanga. It smells great and looks divine! I cannot wait to use it as I imagine I will get lots of envious looks. I am so so glad that I found scaramanga before ordering a satchel from someone else that would be way more expensive and not nearly as nice.
